Hera revisited

I had Mayhem Engineering wheels on but like the extra wide Axials better.
I think Melons' new GripFab wheels will go on Hera and the old black Steelies back on Melons.

Hera's New wheels: GripFab Hoopty Pros with Rogue Elements knock offs... I doubt I'll comp with the knock offs, they do look good on these wheels.
The wheels have a wide and narrow offset, I used the narrow.

Hera is is feeling dialed in!
She did great on the snowy rocks today, the Pitbull's are incredible.

Either my front locker came loose or I broke an axle because I ended up with 3.5wheel drive!

That'll happen.. I use red loctite on one side and blue on the other 2 set screws.. I've still had the blue side loosen up.. Not so bad with removable diff cover axles though.

Looks good man!

Hera competed in the North West Indiana Tough Truck Competition yesterday... they had no idea what hit them!

Hera placed first in 2.2 with a total of +16 for 5 courses!
They said that was the best score of the day for both 2.2 and 1,9 "thumbsup"

Hera is dialed in, she's balanced has loads of power and has been bulletproof.

Yeah, me too... I still love Hera's design. "thumbsup"
Ryan did a great job with building a rig to live up to the name... Hera was the most beautiful of the goddesses... and the most ruthless.

So what WB you running now?

After trying several lengths, I'm runnin 13" exactly.

Well... I lost the Class 2.2 lead in the North West Indiana TTC.
I'm not sure where I place yet but I know it wasn't in the top 3... although overall I felt I had a great comp day. Hera is still in it though, as long as I can make it to the rest of the comps.

Here's my worse decision of the day, to cross this bridge in 2nd gear.
I had already done it in 1.9 with Melons and thought it'd be easy in 2nd where my drag brake isn't as strong... wrong.

It was actually much more difficult because I didn't have the low end control that I was used to.

You might be able to see as I tried to feather the throttle, it kept stuttering... which led to my front flip... which led to my demise.
