Hey RC Car Action readers...

I have known Sean(wheelinjp) for many many years. Stand up guy who is deserving of what he got.

Nice work Sean....

Ya'll ar just stuck up lil bitches. Sean built that rig from nothing on a budget over several years. He started out with a body and a frekin dream. Ive watched it evolve as his skills grew and it got better and better. He started with some busted up mrc running gear and brazed a custom frame. He built the links, figured out how to wedge all the electronics into the tiny body. After thorough durability testing and piles of parts he upgraded to the tlt axles and a real trans. He built tube work, figured out steering hell he even cut and shut a few batches of tires to get the look he was after. How many of you jack wagons even know how to cut up tires? He has built all kinds of bad ass crawlers and spent more then enough $$$ on bling to earn your idiot approval. No its not the most bad ass crawler ever built but he built it and he is proud of it. How about you guys quit fluffing each others asses and get a life. Heck try submiting something that you built since you think that this award was such a big deal.

Thumbs up BIGLOVE "thumbsup"

Wow talk about trying to take the wind out of ones sail over a fun hobby.

I AM here to take the fun away, you know that right?
and for you that haven't figured it out yet it rains a shit load up here. So hell yes it's all throw away electronics, hell I have buckets of Tekins, Mamba's, novaks all spendy esc's that are fried do to running them in water etc.

I'm gonna call liar until I see said bucket. :flipoff:

Great job Baller on a shit bashing thread, your the man and I hope your proud "thumbsup"....Rokpile

Well then, my job is done here. Move along. "thumbsup"

Seriously? BigBaller, telling others to move along isn't really helping the hobby
or RCC. Instead you should nut up and be a positive roll model but I guess being
a keyboard punk is more your style but who am I to judge? Have a great day and
hope to meet you in the future and we can continue this conversation ;-)

I can confirm that RCCA atleast used to contact members like this on forums. I know 1st hand because I got screwed and told to pound sand by my good ol buddy Kevin H. I have made this post before and will do time and time again. RCCA has missed lot's of advertizing $$ from my company and I have yet to buy another magazine since the issue when the ruined my truck. And any opportunity I get, I let all I can know my experience. Over and over again.

The below truck was mine and the add there is from the last magazine I ever bought from RC Car action. That was the Nov 2001 issue

Oh snap.. I like that truck Cory.. So what's the story on it did they keep your rig or lose it maybe..

As for the mag I used to read it when I first started scaling before I found scale trail runners and rcc.. Now I may flip thru it and look at readers rides and the rock pile while I'm waiting for my wife at the supermarket but I won't buy the mag anymore.. It's mostly about the main stream hobbies shortcourse, monster trucks stuff like that.. I don't have any interest in with the scale crawler scene being so freaking huge now and really from what I can tell it seems just as many people go scaling as they do racing so I can understand why someone hasn't deticated a mag to crawlers scale and comp.. This was mention already and the more I think about it the more sense it makes I'm sure it would be a huge seller.. As for the winner of the readers ride I dig the jeep it looks good and nice work as well..
