You can normally count the winds on the bottom of the armature, that is the easiest way.
I do have some new still. I also have a ton of brushes and armature blanks to keep old motors running for years to come.

I went to the site tonight to purchase a puller combo and noticed its not on the site any more and that the pullers are all out of stock.

They are temporararily discontinued. I just completed a prototype Neo Puller (brushed) today, so we should be able to get a good replacement motor soon. I also have Puller Pros (brushless) in the works and we will get sensorless versions first and bring sensored versions to the table shortly thereafter.
Unfortunately the parts will not be compatible from the old Pullers to the new Pullers, but we will keep the product line going!

Are these new Neo Pullers comparible in cost and in size to the old Pullers. How is the performance of these new ones compared to the old ones.
Do you have a ETA on these new pullers just finished up a rig for myself for christmas and would love a Brushed Puller motor and BRXL in it.
If you have any 10T pullers left laying around even if it is used shoot me a PM. Thanks.
Size wise they will be the same. Cost wise they will be a bit more. We were running on 2002 manufacturing costs with the Cobalt Puller, and can't keep an artificially low price with new manufacturing.

Is this correct? I thought the stock wraith ESC was limited to 17t?
The puller isn't the same as a 540, it is 7 slot VS 3 slot so the winds don't work the same.

Oh ok, so RPM wise, a 14t puller would be comparable to what wind on a standard 540?

Hey there John, I picked up one of your 7t puller motors in a trade from a friend.I'm wondering why it is twice as fast in reverse then it is forward,and seems to get quite warm in 7.5lb. scaler 16/87 gearing?Could this be a timing issue? And i noticed there is no marks on the can as a reference.Any info would be appreciated,thanks.

Ok,I just went back a couple pages and read that the 7t on 3s gets warm,especially with the 16/87 gearing.But still want to know why the big speed difference between forward and reverse?
I think it is like a 45t, I don't remember exactly.
Sounds like a timing issue. Rotate the endbell a few mm in the opposite direction of the rotation of the commutator.

How well do the perform after being in the elements with out a lot of attention? Like cleaning it every 2 or 3 times in the elements.

I've got 3 years of abuse in mud, dirt, water and rocks on both my 10T and 7T Pullers. The only maintenence I do is spray them with WD-40 after washing off the mud. I still have the original brushes in them.
I do run a foam filter on the can to keep most of the grit out of the motor. I think this has really help with their life.

If you look at what you linked it is a 454 motor. The motors that everybody is talking about that is briefly discontinued is the 540 motor. a 540 is the standard size motor most scale rigs run on.
