Ion's SCX10 Project "Daddys Money"

Nice man! How do you like those tires?

I love them. I put the Deuces wild Swamper xl 1.9 foams in and they are stiff but very smooth and progressive.

Killer looking build. Loving that body on there

Thanks man!

Nice work on the bumper/ slider set up. What did you use for it?

It was made from 3/16" rod and mig-welded together b one of my buddies. He does amazing work.

Sweet Looking ride man. Now I know I'm gonna get laughed at here but who or what exactly are those axles from. You said r1 but im not sure who makes r1 axles and I wanna get a set they look great. Thanks keep it up.

how are you liking the kings shocks? any problems with them being 100mm on the honcho? or do they work just fine with your setup?

they work good for my setup. honestly, I wish they were a little bit better in the performance scheme of things. I may try a set of the g-made reservoir xd shocks like i have on my wraith

Took it out to rock park in sparks this weekend for a little bit.

Going to be overhauling most of the drive train unfortunately. But that's half the fun. Right?

Very cool rig, nice fab work. I have a SCX-10 with the R1 and Summit trans as well. Going through a new body swap which I will post photos of later, but I am curious, why did you go back to SCX10 axles?

I went back to scx10 axles for a few reasons:
The availability of different gear ratios
I couldn't keep a set of the g-made portal gears together for the life of me with the brusheless motor.
Steering angles
