Those and Dewalt are pretty good for free hand cutting. I'd say you got a good score on that....and a good bus driver. ;)

It is great for what it is made for, which is a portable means of cutting metal (railings, plumbing hangers, etc). As far as using it for cutting small scale stuff, it is far from the best tool for the job. It really isn't meant as a "precise" cutting instrument, which is often what is desired when cutting RC scale stuff.

If that just fell into my lap, I would be on the look out to see what a pawn shop would give me for it.................especially a pawn shop with a permanant band saw for sale.

Or here is something no one has mentioned! Try returning it to the owner! Maybe you will get a reward.:) At the very least try. Honesty, what ever happened to it?:?

it got pushed over the board with all the ilagles came over. that was the first to go.

You saw the truck it feel off of... I say try to return it. If its used the person probably etched(sp) his name or company info on it. I'd say 90% of the people that own tools such as the one you found will do that.

Return it to its owner. Put an add in the paper at the least and ask for a discription when people call. If no one responds with in 2-4 weeks its yours.

And your parents didn't say anthing about you getting this and trying to do the right thing?
