Finally somebody chose a foam set-up for these that makes sense! Your approach to these tires seems the most logical and from the sounds of it, is working pretty good!

Here are a few pics I snapped of the front tire setup (6.0 CC foams, soft outers, ring removed):

I got the tire as wadded up as I could but still showing a good bit of the tire.

IMO, this foam setup might not be best for heavier trucks or MOAs/Dig Setups. Those trucks might require Medium outers in the front or the addition of the outer ring to the softs.
