Jeremy's Sporty

Thanks for the info on the foam setup for the voodoos"thumbsup" I saw these tires for the first time today at our points series. I was really impressed and thought they looked about as tall as the beasts. I may just have to try a set of these hogs!

I have been fighting a weird servo issue in this truck for the past month or so (I run a 7950). The front gear appeared to be wobbling around. I took apart the servo and nothing seemed broken...bearings were fine. New servo horn....same issue. Since the gears were fine, I decided to replace the front of the case (in case the bushings were wallowed out)....still same problem. So I decided to tear it apart completely....here is what I found:

The middle of the case broke off....a bearing race where the motor comes through and connects with the first gear).

Either way, fixed, and now on to the cool stuff!

A 35T Brood StubFlux motor with some prototype magnets. This motor sticks to everything!!

Nice dewd. Ya them magnets are crazy. I had to unbolt my skid plate and it kept pulling my allen wrench over to the motor. I'm sure your gonna like that motor.

How did you fix the servo? I have a wobbly 7950 as well.
The plastic case is 3 piece:

The middle piece (between the gears and the motor/electronics) is what was broken. It is pictured in the middle in that link. I was being lazy by not replacing it when I did the other pieces at first. I should have replaced ALL of the pieces at once.

Make note, if you are replacing this piece, there is a TINY screw on the back that holds an electronics component to that part of the case. You'll need to remove that screw to replace the case. I also had to pop that little plastic bearing race (pictured above) out of the back of the main gear.

"thumbsup" It kept ripping the screws out of my hand when I was trying to bolt everything up. At one point it was also stuck to the hood of my car....:ror:

Thank you! I wasn't sure if the replacement case came with all of the pieces.
