Ya it's definitely a craft. I need to get map gas though. I have a cheap screw on torch top style propane setup. It sucks.

Try to sand off any of the galvy coating before you braze or weld them. Unless you're cool with your unborn children showing up with extra fingers

Hmm, I didnt realize there was a coating on the brake line I bought. That's a lot of sanding to do.

The coating is galvanized. It can give you severe headaches, and, if you inhale enough of it, can kill you. Be very careful!

one question how did you get the flysky gt3b to work the 2 speed transmission?

Isn't the 3rd channel a two position switch? So you can just change the epa to where you want the servo to max out at in both directions and your good to go. Make sure you mess with it without the servo connected to the linkage though or you could burn up the servo by having it pull or push against the linkage too hard.

I hacked the gt3b so it's a little different for me.

Losikid makes a firmware hack kit: FlySky GT3B Info and FAQ for hacks - OverkillRC
You can do dig mixing and all kinds of crazy stuff that would take an expensive radio to do. It is a bear to try to figure out how to program it, but if your cheap and have time on your hands it's worth a shot.

I have 6 channels and can use them all from that $50 radio. It's just really difficult. Someone should do videos like this who actually know what they are doing...
