Ya it's definitely a craft. I need to get map gas though. I have a cheap screw on torch top style propane setup. It sucks.
 
Try to sand off any of the galvy coating before you braze or weld them. Unless you're cool with your unborn children showing up with extra fingers ;)

Hmm, I didnt realize there was a coating on the brake line I bought. That's a lot of sanding to do.
 
Isn't the 3rd channel a two position switch? So you can just change the epa to where you want the servo to max out at in both directions and your good to go. Make sure you mess with it without the servo connected to the linkage though or you could burn up the servo by having it pull or push against the linkage too hard.

I hacked the gt3b so it's a little different for me.

What exactly did you mean by "hacked"? I have the same radio, and I'm curious...
