I have read this whole thing and cant find where anybody say what scale hardware will work for the rings? I did notice that it's been said I'll need 138 pcs. to get the job done:shock: Well I just want a solid answer before buying that many of the wrong screws. If I missed it being stated, what post is it and i'll go back."thumbsup" Just need to know if it is M3 or 4-40?

I used 1-64 locked up rc hardware with a dab of locktite, they use m2 hardware, but the tool will not clear the beadlock rings to tighten them all the way down....thats why I used the 1-64.
Slw hubs are a direct fit, at least on mine they are.

What is the difference in the 1-64 and M2? size of the head? So I can get scale lug nuts for SLW hubs and they will work perfect?

They were fairly easy to screw on, I just added a dab of loctite to keep them in place. I dont plan to change rings. with that many hardware holding the ring, It aint coming out.

I grew up in San Jose its South of SF about 60 miles
Just curious if you had family from Cali

At the sort of price the 1.9s were I'll give them a try. Bought genuine Vanquish ones for 4x the price and then had to buy a tap to fix the threads for the bead lock ring on 2 of them.

No kidding..
M2 screw diameter is .078", on the 1-64 screw diameter is .073". M2 thread pitch is .4mm and it's very close to the 1-64 TPI (Threads Per Inch).
Same can be said for M2.5 (.094" dia.) and 2-56 (.086" dia.), metric thread pitch and SAE TPI are nearly identical.
You have to be careful with the amount of torque when using SAE screws in the metric threaded holes to avoid stripping, but they will work in light duty and/or cosmetic applications.

It's laughable how much you defend these wheels. They are a direct clone of a small US company. 99% of the people on here aren't arguing the fact that way to much **** is already imported from China. They're arguing the fact that you people are buying and defending something that is morally wrong and if done in the US would be illegal.
What's equally messed up is the fact that this thread is even allowed on here given the fact that paying vendors sell THE REAL version of these wheels.
