I don't need no permission from no one even the government ! I am going to burn regardless if you pass a law or not! They rather keep making those synthetic opiates and call it medicine and made in a lab and is accountable for numerous OD situations! Politicians waging war on marijuana and I am waging war on whack politicians who lie , steal , cheat , have sex in bathroom stalls and all type of malarkey ! Grow one and blow one my friend! And thats all I have to say about that in my Forrest Gump tone! STL...... Smoking that loud!

I agree 100%. Legalize or not I will smoke it anyways. But wouldn't it be nice to not have to worry about being arrested over some bud. Or even to be able to walk down the street to your local dispensary and take you pick of strains instead of just whatever your supplier has at the time. I've never had any cop trouble as far as marijuana goes and I've been smoking it for almost 6 years give or take but sooner or later I'm gona get busted. I hope not but odds are not in my favor. If it was legal. Or even decriminalized I would not have to worry about a $1000 fine and possible jail time for just smokin some herb.

If this thread overtakes the "Youve lost my vote Romney" thread in pages Ill sh!t my pants.

Where are the peoples interests?!?!!?

So the medicinal has turned recreational. Fawking potheads.

The time is coming soon. Currently there are 17 states with it legalized for medical use. There are 10 more with ballots pending for it as well. If all 10 of those states pass, then a majority of the country will be pro-marijuana. That is a big step in the overall process of either getting it legalized on a federal level for medical use, or even better, getting it decriminalized/legalized (which is a pipe dream). If this happens there will be a massive amount of income for the federal government, which they sorely need.

Pro-marijuana people currently have one of the best rally cries that I have seen in a long time. "Tax my weed, please." I love it, it shows that there is a potential source of income that is yet untapped for the federal government.

I am pro-pot, big time. But I have to comply with local/state/federal laws as I am currently a federal employee (read slave). As soon as I get out, Colorado here I come. Time to get my card and start smoking, again.

The bad thing is, it's legal in those states but still a federal offense. I haven't tried anything except a sip of alcohol once in a while and don't plan on changing that anytime soon. Unless you give me an edible.8) If it helps you, keep on doin' it, just don't get caught.

I support it for both uses. A vast majority of the people who claim they need it for medicinal use are really just bullshiting to cover there ass. Can you blame them. It's suprisingly easy to get a prescription for medicinal marijuana so I've heard. "hey dock I got some pain in my back" or "hey dock I have frequent migraines and mari Jane is the only thing that seems to help" from what I've heard most doctors won't even second guess you. Hell I'm sure alot of doctors smoke some ganja on a regular basis. Like I said if you need it for legit medical reasons I definatly support it and I support it for recreational use as well. If you want to go with the mind altering substance route then it's no different than alchohol. In fact it's better for you than alchohol and yet it's illegal while something that kills thousands of people a year is legal how many deaths have EVER been caused by marijuana. 0!! EVERRRR!!!

It really is incredible. This is why America is one of the greatest countries ever. When we as americans come together we can change the laws. So to speak. When was the last time the country came together to do something like this? Vietnam era? To end the war.

Yes tax my weed! It would creat many, many jobs. And it would stop costing the government or the tax payers so much money on the useless war on drugs.

An arguements could be made that the government makes more money with it illegal than legal but I don't beleive. My dad always argues about how many police and law enforcement it employs but how many other things can they arrest you for... Tons. No police officers are going to get laid off because marijuana is legal. Not to mention all the money the government would make from the taxing. I think a recent study showed that around 75-80% of Americans smoke marijuana regularly or have smoke it in the past. It may be less I'm jus guessing. I read that a long time ago.

You and many others will still buy it even if its illegal so what does it matter?

People who will smoke will smoke, people who cultivate will cultivate and people who bake will bake, and life will go on, regardless of the laws.

Yes, making it "legal" would be better, but whats best doesnt always happen just because we want it to. That dosnt mean people wont go on living as they have been though.

Maybe so, but a bunch of stoners selling bracelets in the mall parking lot isn't going to do much for the medicinilization effort.

Your right one person really isn't going to make a difference but it's just one MORE person helping to support the cause and spread the word to others to help support it as well. I mean say I sell a bracelette to 200 people. Well maybe even just one of those people were just waiting to be informed
And now that they are they will hop on the bandwagon and support the cause as well. It's just spreading the word around that's all.
No, no and fawk no.

Don't worry, selling bracelets is too much like work. It'll never happen.
Please. I work in a printin press for 12 hours a day. I think sitting in a chair for a
Few hours and selling things is alot easier than being on you feet and doing the exact same thing over and over again for 12 hours straight. Plus i would probly be stoned the whole time I'm sitting there so even the boredom of sitting around for a few hours would be fun.

Do you rub your bud in mud?

w.t.f

sent to you while re inventing the wheel.

It went a little something like this...

One person can make a lot of difference, but not if they're part of the reason that people are against medicinal marijuana.

Selling a bracelet doesn't inform anybody of anything. They also need information. What are you going to do when people start asking you questions? How educated are you on this subject? You aren't going to convince people of anything other than you want more weed if you can't give them an educated and correct answer to shit. For all they know, and this probably isn't too far off, you'll take the profit from the bracelets and buy some weed with it.

Smoker dude: Hey Mary, ju wanna go behind the gas station to get some marijuana?!
Mary: No foo, cuz im too coo fo you and yo smokin a$$. Im out on this one, im getting my life back together.

Dang drug dealers...they are a skid mark on the underpants of society.

Well let's find out how informed I am. I'd like to think I know enough but lets find out anyways. Ask me something you think a random person would ask?
