Margouillat AR60

same observation, braune ;-) At the Big2014, on the 20 participants in 2.2 sportman, only 2 pilots was registered only in sportman. The 18 others would run initially into 2.2 pro and came thereafter with the sportman class

My personal opinion, it is that should not regard the sportman as a class of initiation, before passing as a pro, because it is not reality. 90% of the pilots run already as a pro, and choose to run in sportman to find a different feelings or challenge.

You never stop my friend "thumbsup"
It was nice to meet you, and see your amazing rig in action, and the driver
hope to see you again

Hi,

Some update, I work on the logical evolution of the rear axle. It is a prototype, to test if the idea in viable.

Some (bad) pics...

It is a kind of axle which found before (at the prehistory of crawling), starting from E-maxx axle.
More details, the next time :roll:

Hi,

Some news (better ) pics.

Delrin Knuckles

The carbon support of 4mm, there are 2 versions, to test various configurations. To see in time so in 3mm that would be sufficient.

First assembly

On the rig

The rear shaft is correctly aligned and protected .

Axle clearence

Now it will be necessary to test the reliability of the unit, because system multiplies joints and the potential issues...

The first turns of wheels are rather satisfactory, the centre of gravity does not seem too affected and the behavior in side hill seem good. The profit under the rear axle is really pleasant. But it is necessary still much to roll to be made a real opinion…

Are you thinking of giving the front end a similar treatment?
This axle is just a prototype, and I just began the test. I'm not sure is a viable idea...

To make a front axle is much more difficult (for me), it is necessary to make a knucke (I can made it ), and a c-Hub (more difficult for me ).

But I do not despair to made it (one day)!!

Hi,

Some news. For the moment I spot my prototype of rear axle, to concentrate on the preparation of crawling in seen Euro competition "thumbsup""thumbsup"

For the 2014/2015 Eurocomp, we cannot use bodyless any more thus return to these bl##ted body
This version of the frame had been envisaged in the beginning to receive a body and I for a long time had in a box a xparma body, go !!

In a first time, manufacturing of the supports of body.

I use silent-block of the hitec servo to fix the carro, I think that will prevent that it slit too quickly.

After painting… Who should not hold a long time. It there is not does not have a store of RC in French Guiana and impossible of ordering of bomb painting for lexan by plane

Considering in shafty, we needs a body like a scale, I take the initiative to install a pilot, that could become obligatory in a near future :flipoff:

For the weight, I received my small tungsten cubes  I have made a support to fix in the rear

In situation

I like the use of rear knuckle weight too.
Too bad about the body. We cannot run bodiless here either.
What do the cubes weigh?

:shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock:

At least my body paint last longer....:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

What is the RTR weight now?

Hi,

Without weight, the weight is arount 3lbr, and I add around 8.8oz weight.

At 3lbr, I find the car too light and unstable, I find it perfect around 3lbr and 8.8oz "thumbsup"

For painting, it is perhaps not a chance if they sell a special painting for the lexan :lmao::lmao:
