Hi,
I come to remove dust on this post
Margouillat with evolving with many tests and modifications.
I wanted to use a body, but finally I prefer the bodyless. Thus achievement of the upper part in delrin.
The idea is to have a relatively flexible part, to box the shocks. At this place I prefer the delin compared to carbon.
Once again, large a thank you with
Tomy for the excellence of its work. The parts very precise and are very well finished.
Then another large building site, the rear axle.
Gerry with his project : a crawl with less 3lbs with launching a big big challenge…
Honestly to make a complete axle with less than 90g is really incredible. I weighed different the parts: spoll, gears, bearing, case of differential and it's already in 90g
Thus more modestly, I test another approach, not having a 3D printer at disposal.
The project starts with the butchery of a AX-10 axle  I passed it to the milling machine to eliminate the useless material and especially to release from space for the carbon support.
Carbon parts, by

Assembly of the elements. Thanks at CREEPERBOB, for its rear titanium shaft.
In situation
The weight of a AR60 rear axle is 165g, this axle weighs 129g, that is to say 35g of less.
The final weight of Margouillat is of 1376g (of which 72g of weight in front)

Now, I have too much weight on the front, it is necessary to remove the weight, therefore RTR weight and balanced (60/40) will be of 1300g approx. - 2lbrs 14oz.
Afer some quick tests, the rear axle functions correctly, it supports the shocks, maintaining to see in time...
Thank you with those which read until the end this post
