Margouillat AR60

I see it as a body also.. Compared to a lot of lexan bodies, this looks way more scale...

Thus starting from these definitions, my body… is not legal :lmao::roll:, because the uppers links come to be fixed on the bottom of the body. But by modifying this part, it becomes legal, because it is purely decorative, it does not take part in the rigidity of the frames and no element functional is fixed above. Measurements from this body respects the new rules, i.e. "8x3"x3" (without taking into account the frame).

I have the feeling all the same that will not be also simple…

Yup and there it is, built by the new rules "thumbsup"

Absolutely Awesome concept, design, and execution!!! Well Done!!!"thumbsup"

Duuuuuuudes right this thread is never boring because its always on the cutting edge of design. The tranny skid looks fantastic will you be selling them?
yes, it is in project. But it remains to see the viability of this materials in time… and there it is the unknown factor…

Hi,

Thus first rolling tests and assessment, that fonction very well, no problem lasting the first rolling, and yet I rolled like a pig "thumbsup". The transmission is very noisy as usual with the pinions of R2, it is 32P. The rigidity of the unit is very good.

A video not very beautiful (sorry Pat :flipoff:), but one sees it evolving.
Margouillat test print trany

I must make some modifications on the transmission, to allow the assembly of various motor pinions, of 15 and 19 teeth. But as a whole it has sufficient rigidity to function correctly. After is it necessary to see how this pastic out-of-date??

Hi,

It is the occasion to make some mesures on the rig.

The rig is RTR with Lipo, classique carbone glued rim and no weight.

1319 g or 2lb 14.50oz

And the weight bias under the same conditions, naturally close to 60/40.

Hi,

The day delivery!!

The last version of the transmission, in black. We can use motor gear from 15 to 19 teeth

With the rubber lid for the trany

The diverse crossbars according to the use, the lexan body or the tube body.

A Simple spacer

A small anxiety, because I forgot to rectify the modelling of the back part of the box, by leaving the hole for the insert at the level of fixation of the back lower links. I was afraid that they are difficult to set up.

But with the good screw, they are very simple to install

And the famous "body"

And the weighing final

The tubes of the body are probably too fine, tube make 3.2mm of diameter, it is can be a little bit light. A version 4mm is already ready, but I go to see how it contains that there.

As soon as I have time, go on rocks
