I mentioned to my wife that I found this group online with pictures of the exact spot I take my kids to play. She said she has seen some of you guys out there with your RC cars. Small world.

Hey, I am from MD and would love to get together with friends for some crawling. I also have 1/8 buggies, on road and monster trucks. I am ready to play on all surfaces. Lets talk.

Hello all,

I"m from Fairfield, Pa but work in Hagerstown. Just got back into the hobby with a wraith.

The only place (so far) that I wheel is the Appalachian trail in Waynesboro, Pa off of route 16.

Any other Hagerstown/Waynesboro people around?

Sorry, I'm in a Baltimore suburb. Too far from me, we are talking about a get together at Cunningham falls in the summer though

Sweet! I work probably 10 minutes from Cunningham falls! I'd definitely be into crawl with ya all!

My son and I are building ascenders right now. We should be ready soon. keep us in mind. I am trying to get something together for Motorama in Harrisburg. That may be a pipe dream though. We live in Union Bridge MD.

I guess I'm representing Cecil county, Livin' in Elkton. Not too far from you Bel Air peeps though. I have a Axial Yeti 1/10th version from a kit, that I'm currently rebuilding due to neglect from driving it in Outerbanks, NC. What an expensive endeavor this has become. But it's all good.

I also built an HPI Savage 4.6 nitro from a kit, don't run this too much.

I am currently involved in a project to build a scale crawler course in Southern, MD. If anyone is interested, has any ideas, or would like to help, please feel free to PM.

I can also be found on Facebook in my RC group. PM for details.

Just wanted to check in here. I'm getting back into the hobby after a 10 year break. Man have things gotten awesome! I'm building a scx10ii kit and should have it by next week. Would like to meet up with some local people and crawl. I'm in southern Maryland but willing to travel for a cool spot

this still active? i recently got back into the hobby by finding my old cars (RC10 and Optima Mid) and getting the running again. then i found the scaler/crawler options and picked up a TRX4. i am in the gaithersburg area and an looking for some good spots to crawl/trail.

Also in the Rockville area and would love suggestions on good trailing/crawling spots. My two young sons are into it as well, at least to the extent of crawling that inevitably turns to quasi bashing. We have have a few TRX4's, but also enjoy the smaller scale hard scale body WPL, MN, etc. Very fun for what they are.

Check out MD Scaler on Facebook for events and information on crawling. Also there is another one called purpose built crawler course and backwoods rc on Facebook. I'm down south in Lexington park. Everything is far for me so I usually drive over to Fredericksburg and crawl at Ficklin island. My favorite spot in Maryland is Sugarloaf mountain, its amazing. Lots of people crawl there
