*** May 14th - BBQ & Comp for ETXRCC ***

I'm in for 2.2 pro, 1.9, and G6. Not sure what rig I will run in the G6 though. Either the Yota, Sidekick, XJ, or YJ. I'm bringing all of them so I'll decide then. Lol

I am really excited about this event and I really appreciate all of you out of towners wanting to come down and play with us. I am looking forward to it. "thumbsup"

Donation sent.

Ill be packing the Trials 6x6 and the cherokee for the G6. Ill decide down there after looking at the course.

Thank you so much to the guys that have donated. It really helps!"thumbsup"

Im in for 2.2pro if I get my radio fixed. 1.9 and G6 for sure.

If you need help with the radio let me know. If anything, bring your 2.2 and I am sure we can either get it fixed that day or loan you another radio and receiver for the day"thumbsup".

So far I have a few local guys coming over to help position rocks and start on the G6 stage Saturday. With the generosity from donors and labor from local guys, this comp is going to be a lot of fun"thumbsup". Thank you so much guys for making this possible"thumbsup".

It is a problem inside the radio. Its a 4pk, and I called futuba about it and they said it sounds like the potentiometer on the trigger is going out. I am getting a 4pl so it would be running. And I will send my 4pk off.

Huge THANK YOU to David H, Randal, Clay, Gavin and Lori for their help yesterday (Saturday)!!!

With their help yesterday we got so much done! We worked from 8:30AM until 8:30PM. The bobcat was monumental and without a pro like Randal driving it, we wouldn't have accomplished half of what we did. Thanks to all the hard work yesterday, everybody coming on May 14th to drive is in for a real treat. I will get some updated pictures posted tonight or Monday.

Sweet I can't wait for this event eddie I'm struggling trying to get my scaler done ordered some 1.9 boggers from rc4wd and they have been stuck in cali for a week now:evil:. Oh well we will see what happens but ready to leave now:mrgreen::mrgreen:

I 'm sure that there will be something for you to run if they don't show. I have a full set of unmounted boggers and I have a set of mounted Baja claws that I'm not using at the moment.

The 1.9 boggers with the small lugs removed and used with a set of the 4.75" C.I. Foams are amazing. Clay has them on his Cherokee SCX-10 based scaler and he was driving them yesterday to test lines. They ate up everything he drove on.

I should have my 2.2 comp rig and maybe the 1.9 comp ready, i am working on my 2.2 jk scaler, it is going to be a beast:mrgreen:

I am also working on a grease combo that I plan on selling in the very near future for the axles and trans that I may do as a giveaway at the event. Sounds funny being a paint vendor that also sells a painters worst nightmare, GREASE, lol.

Here are some pictures from Saturday. Unfortunately we had already started working before we took pictures, but you should get an idea of what we started with. I can't say enough about the people that helped Saturday and Sunday. I am blessed to have friends like you"thumbsup"

The burn pile was going all day and through the night. Thanks to Randal's skill, we was able to remove a cedar stump that had been by my pond for years. It smelled ssooo good as that cedar stumped burned.

Sunday afternoon Gavin and I got started moving more small fill rock down to the large piles. We filled the tractor with rock and drove it down to the big piles. It was fun for both of us. It really showed us just how skilled Randal is at driving the bobcat. There is no way we could have even done half of what we did without Randal. You are da man Randal. Thank you so much for your help this weekend brotha"thumbsup"

Wish I could of been there. Had to work. Would of liked to see Eddie on the tractor, bouncing around. :lmao: It aint as easy as it looks. Once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad. Unless its a Case. I don't really like a Case. Would rather run a Cat.

This is where we stopped Saturday night and began Sunday afternoon. I also need to mention, it is crucial you wear good footwear when you come over.

We stopped working Saturday night for two reasons;
1. It was dark
and
2. We had a medium size rat snake (which is a welcome snake that resides on my property) in one large rock pile and I had to kill a 8 inch copperhead snake by the front of the shop.

We are still working on the smaller piles up close to the shop. David, Randal and Clay came up with some kick ass ideas for this area. A rope bridge will be added soon as well:mrgreen:
