My 1:6th Willys Jeep build (GI Joe)

But that depends on the Jeep. My early '60's -'70's Hasbro Jeep, (the original), is a wider body, and looks better with the wraith axles, more stable.

I see...I didn't know they were different sizes.
That's good to know.

my 1/6 scale Nylint TJ build
makes wraith axles seem narrow ;-)

Thanks for the input and heads up.

I ditched the blue/purple on mine, and went camo, still working on the rebuild, upgraded the servo, and adding a steel spare and jerry can holder mounted to the rear bumper, and a different front bumper with a grill guard and stinger for the front. It's been hot and humid in chicagoland for the last week, so I haven't been out in the garage. Supposed to be back in the 60's next weekend.

I added some weights to the front wheels for better crawling abilities

And made full cage

Met a group of scalers while we were at the beach

Did a quick paint job on my #ProjectWillys and after putting it all back together

And also wrapped rope around the bumper

I gotta get in touch with a few 1/6th scale Jerp buddies and get back out on the trails. Mine has been sitting in a duffle bag for almost 7 months without seeing any dirt.....
