This a very difficult thread to write...

On September 22nd, my youngest daughter McKenna lost her life to Cystic Fibrosis... she was 19 years old, eighteen days from celebrating her 20th birthday.
McKenna suffered all of her life, not from the typical respiratory distress that is the main culprit of CF but she dealt with nutritional aspect mainly she was always the "skinny" girl.
While I always knew that she was full of life, always talking to anyone, and always smiling, it wasn't until she passed away that I found out how many people she impacted on a daily basis... she truly lived her life to the most, she got married in December of 2010 to a great guy that she knew since 7th grade, he was with her through good and bad, she went into the Hospital in April of this year and was in ICU until August, she worked her ass off to get on the transplant list for new lungs and got healthy enough to go home a day before the earthquake on the East coast.
She continued to enjoy her time with her husband and kept up with her exercise as well... it was short lived, she went back into the ICU with gas/ air pockets in her chest from the ventilator tube in her neck... she went downhill very rapidly, and went out on her own terms... breathing on her own...

I am not writing this to get any sympathy, or condolences... I just wanted everyone, especially customers, to understand why I haven't been putting out any new product, or replying to emails.
I don't mean to avoid, but I just don't have the drive to get back at it like I was before, it's getting better every day though and I do have some ideas floating around in my melon, I just am having a hard time getting them to product so please bare with me.

Most of all, to you all who have children, love them, communicate with them, and be there for them no matter how far away from home they are, or how much you might dispise(sp?) your ex wife, or ex husband.

Thank you for your time, and patience, to all of you in this sport... you have no idea how much your friendship has helped me stay sane for the past few months!"thumbsup"

Breathe easy McKenna, I love you!

Sorry to hear--truely am..

Sounds like she was a great person and touched many through her travels in life...

I had no idea, last we talked you never gave me the impression of anything wrong.
But, hang in there brother and don't worry about products. I can tell in your writing how upset, yet proud of her and your a good man for that.

On behalf of me and my wife, god bless and we will pray for your family to get through this time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Reading that had me wiping my eyes. My thoughts are, worry more about getting yourself & your family back together, then you can take care of business.

sorry to hear about your daughter, she sounds like she is a very special and happy person. I myself have just lost a loved one and I feel your pain. My dad just died Oct. 28. My family will keep you in our prayers.

Sorry for your loss.

Cystic Fibrosis is a bitch. I have a 16 year old niece with it. So I know what you had to go through. One minute they're fine, another minute they're in the hospital for 2 weeks on what we call a tune up.

I am sorry for you and your family's loss. What a tough read, I cannot imagine Sir. Prayers to you and your family...
