Pretty much the same reason you put weight in your wheels or knuckle weights and not on your axle tubes. Its just a more ideal spot for it. Putting a bunch of lead on your tubes and motor would seem silly, wouldnt it?

I guess. But shaving weight then adding weight back on sounds silly too.:ror:

I know I want to be able to pick were my axle is heavy not just be stuck with what Berg gave me as a starting point.

all so if you can remove weight from the chassis but then the truck is lighter then you wanted it you can add weight to the under side of the axle and it will make that thing stick to the rocks like glue.

What is the point of putting lightweight parts in the rear, if you're just going to add the rear knuckle weights to it?

I agree with RCBRO and Erik on this. For instance if you go to a comp with a bunch of downhill gates you prob want to add a little weight to the rear. But on those courses without big downhills you prob dont need the weight, witch then you just slide the weights off and go. The great possibilities of having such adjustable parts.

awesome stuff u got there G looks like i have a few things to get when i get hm, i think i'll stick with my aluim tubes though since i like to lawn dart my rig. but the knuckle weights and some new rims and tires is what the Dr has prescribed.how much wieght are u runnin in the front with those .7's. only few more months and i can start drivein agian cant wait

I just got some more Dlux products to add to my rig. The Dlux Ti steering links is my new addition to the rig. Going to this steering saved me 5grams. Thanks Erik for weight loss and great parts. Look forward to what comes out of your shop next.
