my h1 hummer

OK so i was looking for a more scale body but wanted something kinda different. I like jeeps but every one seems to have one. Then i remembered i had an old h1 hummer rc toy i got from toysrus. Looked it up and it said it was 1/24 scale so i dug it out of its old box . and it lined up almost perfect you can see here the wheel base is a little off

i attached the body using some tubing it seems to work really well

so i stretched the rear using mini-t end links a mech pencil pipe cuter hack saw and some glue

it fits perfect now also it seems to climb better now as well "thumbsup"

now all i need is some 4x4 accessories and a winch :twisted:

I must've missed that one (and I'm on dial-up) so I missed it again this time, lol.

I made the bungees, sleeping bags, and hi lift myself. I now have the body work done and it's painted blue.
