My Losi Mini-Rock Crawler

i have mine on preorder cant wait for it to be released and be at my house an hour on a stock 1100 batt thats crazy imagine an upgrade pack and better motors :)

Take it apart already, I wanna see some guts:shock:

A COMPLETE kit for the price they are asking is quite sickening after realizing what I spent to get my ax10 going. That, and the 2.4ghz system seals the deal.

Thank you Team Losi, I plan on picking one of these up.

I'm have to get one and run my Wild Willy body on it. It'll be sweet

That would be cool "thumbsup"

I can't wait to get one. I'll have to setup an urban crawling course here at work

Great write-up!

then we're gonna need a k2-mini chassis!

The thought had crossed my mind. We will have to see how things go, my sponser with Team Losi is important to me and I would hate to do anything to damage that "thumbsup"

A mini K2-5 would be cool

so does the tranny look like it could be modded to fit a 540 size motor in there? it's kind of hard to tell from the pics...

also, does it use M3 size screws and hardware, or does it use the smaller size from a mini-T?

Please keep in mind that the Mini Rock Crawler has been designed as a "true" mini. It was never intended to be used as a 1/10th scale vehicle. I have not tried to install a 540 motor and actually would find it very difficult to do so, but at the same time i would not recommend it.

The axles etc are probably going to look great under a scale body, but I would only suggest using the Mini Rock Crawler drivetrain...at least that is my thought right now. Maybe others will find differently.

All in due time...

Yours looks like it should be mine and vis-versa.

I'll trade ya tonight!

You don't need more power honestly. This thing has great low end and has plenty of wheelspeed on the top end.

Gonna go out with Rubbaneck tonight and shoot some video of 2 of them together.

Plus I am gonna trade him this blue one for his red one.;)
