Watched the Coke Zero 400 tonight. Saw cars pushing each other around the track in pairs of two. Then they wreck with two laps to go. All of a sudden theres four laps to go. They have to have a green, white, checker. Two laps to go...crash! Start all over again... four laps to go...Green flag two laps to go...Crash on final lap before leader crossed finish! No Yellow!! No caution!! David Ragan wins race. This is crap!! I watch the World of Outlaws regularly and they dont do that crap there!! They race each other side by side, front to back, whatever! They have alot more to risk if they bump into each other,They start flipping end over end! I dont watch Nascar that much and I think Ill start watching it less!

I quit watching Nascar years ago... it was getting way to commercialized and all the cars were basically the same, and it isn't STOCK car racing, Stock car racing is what is going on tonight just one town over from me at a local dirt track. "thumbsup"
I am watching more of the American LeMans series. In there GT and GT2 classes they are racing cars that actually start out like the cars you can buy off the show room floor. Not started with a chassis that is hand built with an engine that isn't even available to the public. A Camry with a V-8 and rear wheel drive? Really?

I stopped watching after the last "real" Champion was crowned.

There was a time when fuel strategy played a big role towards the end of the race. Now with this Green, White, Checkers it all when down the crapper.

NASCAR is just a bunch of rolling billboards going in a circle that is one step away from being scripted like professional wrestling.

Is it just me or is there a lot of left hand turns in NASCAR "thumbsup". I have never liked NASCAR, I have always prefered going to the dirt track and watching the drivers beat the crap out of each other on the track and then in the pitt too LMAO. I used to be head of security at a small track and it was a blast I have the scars to prove it LOL.

Welcome home. Give F1 and/or Australian Super Tourers a try.

I haven't watched Nascar since that one guy turned right for all of our sins.

That would be Ayrton Senna.....

I thought it already was, with all those silly cowboy stage names they give the drivers, and the childish villain vs hero roles they all seem to be divided into.

its been going down hill for a long time, I'd mcuh rather go to the dirt trak with my friend and watch him race where there are a lot more varinces allowed on your car, which IMO makes for a better race.

Yep NASCAR SUCKS!! That's right you heard it from a southern boy. The point system is unreal, there is so much drama and bullsh!$ than I care to see. The point system went from season long to top ten, then when "A" list drivers wasn't making the cut they bumped it to the top twelve. I call it ASSCAR. It has gotten to politically correct for me. I watch formula 1, saloon tourer cars in Germany, Australian super tourers,

I forgot World Rally Cars.

Watkins Glenn, Infineon, just saying. Still to corporate though

The irony here is that the nascar 'regular fans' won't watch and don't like the road course tracks. I've had discussions with some 'fans' who tell me that road racing isn't real racing.... I guess it's too much for their brains to contemplate left and RIGHT turns, elevation changes, constant gear changes, ect...

Personally I'd watch SCCA Improved Touring series if it was ever televised.

Hey, if it's good enough for Optimus Prime and the Autobits(saw movie, kick ASS) it's good enough for everyone!

Some other god series I like to watch are the Grand Am series, both Rolex and Continenetal Tires Series.
