I got the Pimp slap all together but it seems like the back bone is a little stiff. Is there any tricks to breaking it in so the spine flexs more or is it that I don't have enough weight in the wheels for this thing?
did you get the old version or the new version with the higher backbone? i found one thing that did help was to balance out the rig front and rear. I had weight in three tires. I cant remember which three they were but they were the two front and one of the rears to help counter act the backbone and give a little more flex.
ill tell you one thing from experience, dont drill the piss out of the backbone like some people say. drilling a little will be okay just keep it to a minimum. I bent one and in the process of trying to straighten it out to run for the next course, i broke it. needless to say, mine was drilled like crazy to try to ease the backbone some.
also before you mount the tranny go ahead and try to make it flex in your hand. you will notice the spots were the most torsion in the backbone is. i found that if you attach the tranny mount in a small area (like have the screws in the backbone 1/4" or a little further away) that it also helps and wont interfer with the torsion of the backbone.
not an additional, just total weight of the wheel.
Well I took it out today and in about 20 sec. I broke a rear axle. It was in a small bind but no where near as bad as some of the other stuff I have my SW3 in. It was kind of a freak accident. time to tear the rear axle apart and replace it. Glad I have a bunch of spares.
