Never fear... Tower Hobbies AxFest

Haxialcat fest 2019 anybody? Lol.

There are events all over the country. Pick one big or small. Go to it. Scale or not.

I wouldn't say that...maybe you don't get a vote but i do share ideas with the powers that be :)
Good morning Rich, thanks for passing on our thoughts and ideas to the powers to be!!! "thumbsup"
Having a liaison like you representing us is a real plus.

Now, please let us know what is coming down the line for the ascender, some of us believe the product line needs just a little boost. Maybe just dangle a carrot. "thumbsup""thumbsup"

It wasn't hobbico fest before, it wont be horizon fest now.

Wine all you want, it is still the largest rc event in the country. 2500+ people attended last year.

You didnt get the joke.

And im not whining.

So now you can plan whether you can make it to Donner or not. Not very far from Tahoe, or Sacramento. It's a big area - not far from the famous Rubicon Trail.

Looks to me like Reno would be the most logical place to stay for this event.

EDIT: Nevermind...I'm on the wrong pass. No wonder I get lost... :)

I've never been to Donner so can't say what accommodations they have up there.

EDIT: Oh, that's Truckee. Surely there are hotels and such there. We'll have to do some more scouting out. I suppose everything will fill up fast and be expensive as hell. ;-)

Even though it's no longer Axialfest. I still Would Love to go. Who cares who's putting on the event? Doesn't everyone just wanna play with Tiny Trucks?

I for one Only want to go to axialfest going forward just to surround myself with those who enjoy or have a passion for the same thing we're all there for,

Community is one of my favorite parts of the RC world. Who doesn't want to go to one of the biggest RC gatherings there is?

Planning for it for sure. Weather it actually comes to fruition...I don't know, But the Want is there for Sure!

FWIW, it is still Axialfest with no plans of it ever not being Axialfest. "thumbsup"

RCCrawler-fest???

Donner is 500+ miles for us, so the only way we would make that trek would be if we can combine it with other vacation travel.
I really need to retire. 8)

Isn't that part of the reason you're making the trip to Southern Oregon this spring? "thumbsup" Would still like to see you guys! Our son is in Eagle Point, we could make it a combined trip:mrgreen:

Hmmm...early June. That's a possibility. I was thinking of checking out southern NV as well, Gardnerville area. We are looking for a retirement destination.

Klammath Falls was a target 'till I found out it snows all winter there. Then Ashland. Still pretty cold, but a possibility. We want to go check it out closer.

We'll ping you as plans firm up.

So AxialFest COULD be on the calendar for us. ;-)
I could bring my Blazer and Bomber and MAYBE fit in. LOL

Gee, that means it's like just a few weeks after Proline by the Fire Event.

Also odd that axcialracing.com still has not updated their event info.
