New Axial rig?

Rumor mill at the LHS today was saying it's a Rally Car.

I'd love to see an EXO based Rally car but if it is, I hope they don't take a page from Traxxas' book and just mold a bigger body :evil:

Please let it be a Rally and not a drifter. Not hating on drifters, I have one myself but a rally seems more appealing to the masses.

honestly, aside from what i said, which i meant no offense by, i would like to see a hardbody scaler with leafs and a transfer case. some new bits that we can use for scaler builds.

Axial shouldn't make anything that goes fast. It will just break into hundreds of pieces.

Stick to off road scalers.

IFS with centered rear Wraith straight axle. Cross between Wraith and exo cages.

I know it's probably not on the drawing board but it would be nice to see a smaller 1/10 rig. Something that could fit in the c1 rules without modification. I'd even be happy if they just released parts like narrower axles and a transfer case that you could put in a scx10.

This is what I was going to guess, something along the lines of SC rig w/ IFS like the rigs that you have built.

I would like a scale crawler with ifs that can easily be swapped over to a solid front axle.

But i have a feeling it will be another go fast

I say it will be a 1/10 vehicle of some sort, I'm leaning toward a Ultra 4 KOH buggy built like a wraith but set up to run a brushless set up. I can also see a short course truck sense the EXO buggy didn't really seem to take off like everyone thought it would. This way they can still use all the same parts.

I'm stoked for a new axial kit;

What I *hope* it will be:

a large (1:8 to 1:6th), 2 or 4wd off-roader, scale, that combines the speed of an exo with the crawling of a wraith, possibly solid axle rear and a-arm front. The ultimate woodland crawling basher; a sort of wraith-exo hybrid. A little scale, but not overweight and annoying to work on.

Short course clone
XR10 v2
Evo v2

First time I saw an EXO run at a local track I was amazed how capable it was. I think the fatal flaw is what a hassle it is to do maintenance on.

Brushless KOH would be sweet!

I'm interested to see what they've got up their sleeves, they're innovators for sure, I doubt they'll just dump yet another SC truck on the world. Maybe it's an 8th scale? Or formula offroad?

In the pic looks like the front shocks mount inward. IFS wraith?

Well to me what they can do is beef the wraith, because its one of theyrs top sellers, run it brushless with the motor they put on the exo, and some beef trans to keep up with the power and to give the final touch, deliver the car with a 2 gear transmission, so that you can run and crawl with a brushless sistem and control everything on your hand like the traxxas summit, to me the wraith is better but with those changes it will be HEAVEN ON EARTH, I WILL BUY ANOTHER ONE WITH MY EYES SHUT.

Exo front and wraith rear. That is what we need. No more chopping up slashs and exos
