Never really thought about it.
Unless the aluminum is anodized silver, i would think there would be just as much contrast between raw aluminum and silver as there is between white and silver???

plus with aluminum I would have the option to send them to someone for anodizing if wanted. Gonna send out some rings to be anodized eventually. Is aluminum cheaper than delrin? I know delrin is kinda an expensive material isn't it?

I think the cost difference would be negligible. just a little tougher on tooling.

If you own a set of VP 2.2"Method" or VP 2.2"KMC Enduro" beadlock wheels
you know how difficult it can be mounting up certain tire /foam combinations.


With this Delrin /Aluminum spacer kit your wheels will be .300" wider than stock,
allowing for easier assembly and a straighter more stable tire sidewall!





Delrin spacer sandwiches between wheel halves.
The Aluminum spacer snaps into the stock clamp ring.



With only 2 extra pieces assembly is EASY!




Notice the flatter, less sucked in sidewall.


Each kit will include 4ea Delrin wheel spacers (White or Black)
4ea Aluminum clamp ring spacers

Good Idea.
In the mean time I used some 2x1/8 rubber O-rings to take up the extra
space.

No real world test yet.. still in the construction stage..
BTW: I love these wheel Widners. (my 2nd set) No little screw spacers to
chase around or to lose.
