Yes, although I personally like to keep them tucked in for better looks.
I may just bolt on a set of regular 2.2 wheels and tires, it would perform much better than the narrow setup I have on it now.
i think if your wheels are wider then your body you fit in class:2 trail rigs, its all new to me:mrgreen:Wheelbase and width: The dimensions of the vehicle are limited only by the body, but it must fit within the body’s fender wells - Doesn't this say no. That will cut a ton of people out of the comp.
TTC/KOH/extreme trail truck
1. Tires
1.1 Maximum tire outside diameter of 5.75” as measured.
1.2 Tire diameter and width may be reduced, enlarged or combined with other scale tire treads
as desired. The modified tire diameter measurement will be taken with the tire/wheel laying on
its side, without vehicle weight on it.
1.3 Tire lugs may be removed, siped, grooved or otherwise modified.
1.4 No competition specific tires allowed (see banned tire list). Modified tires must still
resemble a scale tire in design.
From the looks of it my ax-10 2.2 is not considered a 2.2 scaler. so I have to run in the crawler class or change the chasis to a frame?
Are you ever just going to have fun gtg's and not always a competition?
When you say SCALE does that mean you will allow side plates and wk's?I dont care either way just want to get this out of the way so there's no fights about it later.
It says scale trucks, and top truck challenge. Doesn't that contradict itself? To me scale trucks should have a scale frame and go by scale rules, but top truck challenge should have no truck restrictions.

So i would be correct about resembling a scale tire?

I dont think this would be a problem or the guy who got 2nd last time would be out because his front axle was way out front.I hope they dont change that because mine arent centered, cant do it with the cab and tranny placement so..........As for the WB i think it means the tires cant be further foward or backwards of the fenderwells they have to be inside them.. maybe.
