It could be a few months before I get any Revolvers back in stock. They aren't the easiest to import. I will write down your addy bruiserin, any member of the Navy gets my respect.

I am working on new motors to replace the Revolver for Quality and Supply reasons. I will start a new and temporary thread in chit chat about the subject.

Cool. Nice to see you're exploring alternate routes.

BTW, if you're needing a tester, I'm happy to help. Especially since I'm glad to toss it in my pig of a crawler in my Mantis Maxx.

JRH, hi it's me again, i tried to set my bl with the quark esc and i did it again:x  , i think i went into programming mode and locked out the forward movement it only moves one way:roll: , can i also reset this esc why my castle link? i've tried and it doesn't recognize it:-(

Never mind, i did a search  and found your thread:) , these thing are not usb programable:x , why would anyone want a non usb programing esc after they have tried the mambas:?: , i'am going to try and program it as the manual says:roll: , unless you have a different advice JRH.

Cart, have you reversed your throttle on your radio? That could be the problem. One of my radios works with the normal throttle setting, while another works with the throttle reversed.

Mine did that the first time as well. What I noticed is that the first programming mode didn't actually beep for me. I just programmed it as if it did and it fixed my problem.

First couple times were odd, but it eventually worked itself out and it works pretty well now.

i'm very curious about these brushless setups, and it seems like somewhat of a hidden treasure at the moment. i don't see any mamba esc's or brushless motors on your site at all though...any eta's you have would be great. thanks

Still working on new motors. The Revolvers are being a pain for me to import right now, So I am exploring motors that are already imported. I have some esc's, I just dont list them on the site at the moment.

My Revolver runs just fine but it makes a honking noise every couple of min, I have taken the motor out and ran it separately and it is deffinetly the motor. It feels like it is vibrating when I hold it in my hand  . It only dose it once every min or so it dosen't seem to affect performance but it is annoying. Harmonic vibration maybe???? Anyone heard of this???

Mine did the same thing, John replaced mine as well. I fear my wife's might be doing it as well, but it hasn't started up real bad yet, so I'm just letting her drive it until it does.

Are these quality control issues from the factory or are we just beating on them too hard, John?

I thik some is the tumbles we take off of high places.......LOL, a 6 lb car falling off a rock can be worse thanan airplane crash....and we do it many times a day!

Hey bonehead remember mine in Moab doing the same? JRH swapped it out for me.

Probably a combination of both. The tumbles we take are definatly not good for any motor, and the fact that the shaft is press fit into the can makes an out of true motor more likely.

We do beat on these motors harder than any plane ever would. Case in point is the MPjet motors. Still pretty good motors, but will all the rattling we give em the wires have been failing.

I would like to replace every motor that has rubbing issues, but unfortunatly I dont have any left for replacement. Over all, I would say that around 10% of these motors have had issues with rubbing. Some are worse than others. At this point I can only deal with it on a case by case basis and do my best to remedy the situation.

yes, the shafts are of a metal that I cannot turn down yet so I have been unable to test them. I am getting different bits. The motors themselves look very nice. Three standard size bearings support the shaft, the bearing tube is nice and long, the shaft is press fit into an almost 1/2" long section on the can and it has grub screws to hold it. The wires are stranded silicone too. Very nice little motors.
