Panther Cougars

they even work great when they are muddy! I think I need some Harder mem. foams though. Too much folding on the sidehills:x Work great other than that though.

Kamikaze what foams are you running in yours? I have a set sitting at home waiting on me but I am offshore so I have to wait another 2 weeks, Damn! Oh yeah congrats on your win.

Hey, you guys running dp's and cougars. What did you do to get breather holes? Modify the rim or holes in tires? A little help would be great. I would rather do what works without wrecking anythig. Thanks Farmer

at the local BPRCA comp yester day 1st place was losi claws, second was panthers. third was panthers too. i think both are good tires just the panthers not as consistant as the losi claws are(maybe just yet?).

I didnt think I would find a tire I liked better than the Badland. After hearing all the comments on these I wanted to try them

So I ordered a set of these to go on my new Axial/GC2 build

I punched 2 small holes in my tires. It may cause me to go through foams faster, but I'm not real excited about drilling those sweet wheels!

What do you guys think about stock badlands foam in the rear and two panther mem foams in the front? On DP's with 4 balls in front and 2 in the rear. Thanks

I used my cougars in a comp this weekend, I loved them, they stuck to everything 10X better than claws! I love them with the stock memory foams.

Well I just got my first crawler last weekend and now been playing with it for a week. When I first set it up I just had the stock rock lizards with no weights. Then I bought a set of used hammers and panther soft memory foams. Bolted them on saturday and when I did that I added 7.5OZ to each front wheel and 3OZ to each rear. Also drilled 2 holes in each wheel. And we went wheeling today. Everyone else was on losi rock claws and was able to crawl more stuff than me. Everybody pretty much had the same setup. Axial AX-10 but they all had the claws. So I am looking for a better tire. I just read this whole 22 page thread and I am sold!! I will be ordering them tomorrow. I am gonna order the tires straight from panther tires and I can get white soft memory foams or regular memory foams. I am thinking get the regualar memory foams for the front and run 2 of the soft foams in each rear tire. Where we go isnt really a bunch of big rocks is it more of big hills with ledges. But there are a few places with some big rocks too but not many. Does that sounds like a good idea on the foams or should I do something else?

robert97dodge.....try the T485 with the soft foam. ;-) If you order direct you can choose the foam you want or none at all. "thumbsup" I hope this helps, I am running dual memory foams in my tires. Its a pain to get it all in and mounted but man are they working nice.

Well I just ordered them and I got 2 with the memory foam and 2 with the white soft memory foam. So when they get here I will get them bolted up and hopefully show up everyone with those rock claws!!! "thumbsup"

The foams are key in these tires, I use 2 memory foams in each tire side by side.

Good to hear, it's just what I was thinking of doing. I've noticed there was a lot of loose rubber/gap between the sidewall and the foams on the rigs of the guys who are running them up here.
