HI Pham, do you have any idea when approximately this thing will be released by VP? I have the panhard kit now, but I have some serious binding issues and I think this thing is a must for using the CMS setup.

I don't know exactly when it will come out but as Tom@VP has stated it should be very soon. As for having the panhard kit and binding how is your vehicle setup? Are you also running the VP front cms mount? I never had any binding issues even before I put this part on. Here are the pictures of how it was before yours should look the same and there should be no binding issues.

Hi Pham, thanks for your response, actually I have been following your thread since you posted it, so I am doing the exactly same thing as you did(I cant mimic everything though), so I am running the VP front cms mount, the only difference is that I am using gmade 103mm shocks, they are a bit longer so I use the Junfac adjustable shock mount to get the lower stand, my problem is that I cant get the full compression on the right shock, the panhard bar just keeps hitting the upper link mount bracket.

Ok, not getting full compression is totally different from something binding, that's why I didn't understand the problem you're having. The new part that will be coming out from VP will get rid of the upper link mount and allow for full compression on both sides. Last time I check (last Friday) the machine was still down so hopefully it will be up and running soon so these parts will come out.

WOW, just finished reading the entire thread ... what a build!. Been in RC cars for 4-5 years, mainly 1/8th nitros, then 10th electric buggies & short course ... all racing, no bashing ... and of course my favorite, my highly customized berg. Since I enjoy the berg more than the others I have decided to sell everything but the berg and build me a top notch scaler (there's a large scaler community here). I knew I was going to start with an scx10 kit so began reading various builds in the this forum and came across yours. What an inspiration ... great build, super rig and thanks for sharing."thumbsup"

No I did not have to vent the tires nor the rims to use the foams. You could if you like but I personally don't like venting tires.

Your welcome. I think it is personal preference, I have a set of the same foams on Honcho with Pitbulls 1.9 Rock Beast unvented and they worked awesome.

I'm a little late on sharing this but it should have been posted last weekend. CHECK YOU THIS NEW PRODUCT!!!

RC Rock Armor has a new aluminum rear bumper with aluminum rear swing out. Here are pictures of the first one mounted on a Jeep JK Let me know if you guys have any questions.

The ones that will be sold will have a nicer aluminum piece for the wheel mount, mine isn't at pretty because I modified mine to fit a wider up of the VP wheel.

This rig is running a 84/18 setup on the Roc 412 motor, I have a very similar setup on my Competition Honcho except its a 87/23 and I freaking love it!!! Tons of wheel speed but I still have butter smooth throttle. Just make sure your rig is totally beefed up because that motor will find your weak link quickly.

Yes, the plastic needs to be cut to sit in place of the forward shock hoop mount.

I have several rigs and each are built to do different things (race, crawler, g6, shelf queen, etc). The rig I use the most for competitions and for GTG has just as much money and I am relentless with it. The money wasn't the biggest issue with this rig, it was the countless hours and nights working on wiring and figuring out how I would build things with a family with 2 kids, competitions, real cars, work, etc. I would hate to ruin this rig. Also even though it's a shelf queen I use it everyday I go to work to give people ideas on building their own scx-10 and when you go to a hobby shop I'm sure people want to see new stuff not banged up cars like my other rigs.
