Pro-Line TSL Super Swamper

2.2 Narrow and high ... just the way we like them "thumbsup"

And today is 17 .... i keep refreshing their webpage

Um what do you think the RC4WD Rok Lox are?

Anyway I just saw them on RPP's site, the Proline site doesn't show them anywhere I could find. I'm stoked hopefully they won't be over priced.

Lox are more less IROKS then Swampers.....TSL's are TSL's LOL

and BTW Im PISSED, I got them and they arent any bigger than the Flat Irons, they say they are a BIT bigger but if anything they are smaler :x:x:x
they should have went with a 'TRUE" 4.5 at least and NOW they are saying that the 2.2's are gonna be 5.4?? WTF ProLine???? c'mon guys make something in between, they finally step up and make a bad azzzzz tire and the sizes are ALLL fudged up LOL:cry::cry::cry:
I just got a set of the 1.9's and I gots ta say they are the MOST scale best working tire ever BUT too small

thats my 2 bits:flipoff: BUT hey good job anyhow PL keep up the work and make some hard Body JEEPs to fit the scx chassis!!! a hard body Camanche would be siiiik"thumbsup"

I think the 1.9 works great . I think they might be the best all around scale tire on the market . Proline please keep making this size tire . I would love to see you guys make this tire in a 4.5 (1.9) as well . I think you would sell both size . I know I would own a few sets of both . "thumbsup"

so at 5.4 inches tall, whats that come out to if there cut down to fit a 1.9??

If the 2.2 is 5.4" ... that means ~3.2"/2=1.6" from bead to outer tread.

So depending on how much it pulls itself in and where you cut ... I'd guess it would be close to 5"

They look fawking awesome.

Seriously?? :x That is not what I wanted to hear. I came real close to pulling the trigger on these last nite, now I'm glad I talked myself into researching things a little deeper.

Do you have any pictures you could post of the TSL's and Flat Irons side-by-side?

I just rebuilt my entire chassis, and I did some tube fenders and altered my HiLux body to be able to run a slightly larger tire than the Flat Irons I've been running. I've been looking at the 1.9 TSL's because they look incredible, and in the few vids I've seen they seem to perfom well.

I've been looking at:
RC4WD Rok-Lox (4.5")
RC4WD Rock Crusher II (4.33")
Pro-Line TSL (4.3" according to Pro-Line's site)

According to Pro-Lines site, 1.9 Flat Irons are 4.2" - According to my ruler here, my unused G8 spare measures exactly 4". Go figure. I don't know if Pro-Line is deliberately fudging the numbers for marketing purposes, or if someone there just has problems properly reading a measuring device.

Here's what they are going on, with 1.9 Flat Irons on it now. I really want a slightly bigger tire:

And a shot at close to fully flexed. I made room in my tube fenders for bigger tires (and in my spare tire rack as well - I can't bring myself to run a spare that doesn't match the rest of the tires, I think it looks bad) but now the dilemma is which tire will look the best and be the size I want w/o being too big.

Ya'll think Rok-Lox are gonna fit in there? It will flex a bit more if being forced by the terrain, it's just sitting on a table here.

Tire shopping for a scale truck is a beee-atch these days. Too many choices and not enough hard data about them. I guess the only way to really know if a tire is the right size for any given build is to pony up and buy them. Then Ebay them if they don't work out for you. Total PITA. Why can't we just have the data we need to make an educated choice for Christ's sake??!!?
