I guess it's time to go ahead and do a build thread on this. While waiting on chassis to get here i ordered up some Dlux links and XR10 brass knuckles. Man these knuckles are the bomb (thanks Dlux) they are so smooth. The axles are from my BWD Mantis an d have the RC4WD gears and runnin' Team Brood 35T Intensity's that i've been using for last 3 years and still run great and smooth as hell. Runnin' all plastic housings for lightness and purple GPM alum. chub's, gonna try the lightweight thing on this build and see what all the hype is.

You'll probably want to finishing shaving them side lugs.
The carcass bites Great, with the BC's!
You think they might help but can hinder, just as much, if not more.
Say, the carcass bites and then the lug pops that bite. Now you fall down.
The perfection in the BC's, is they are constant and in constant contact.
Break that contact and you might not like it.

Well i got the weight down to 4lbs. 5.9oz. last rig was weighing in at 5lbs. 8.5oz. big difference, now to start tuning, only got 2 days to ECC but already feels pretty dialed as it sits. i did exchange out the 4mm limiters in the shocks for 2mm and changed eye to eye to 90mm and seemed to work great.

And i also switched over to the Airtronics MT4s radio, now just to get used to it. I applied a Freakskins skin on it too, of course it had to be purple. Now to get at least a couple batteries through it before ECC Saturday.

Also got my sporty all rebuilt with bunch new items, and weight down to 4lbs. 2.4oz. Body is a LC Racing 1/14 scale MT truck and fits all specs perfectly. Tires are panther leopards narrowed by me, and you know me i'm still old school, just can't give them up, they just work too good.
