Tom Petty died yesterday at the age of 66.

Top three songs of his (my favorites):
Last Dance with Mary Jane
You're so Bad
Free Falling

Rest in Peace, you will be missed!

Is it official now? It was official and then wasn't and then was again. Poor guy.

Tom Petty is a legend.

Free Falling is probably my all time favorite. The Waiting is also great. And Don't Come Around Here No More is probably the best music video of all time!

RIP Tom Petty!

It is....the police accidentley made a statement inconjunction with him being taken off life support. He however did not pass immediately after being removed. He passed around 8:30 last night and his family made a statement around 9pm....

It along with the passing of my cousin, the vegas shooting and finding out Donald Malarkey passed (oldest living member of easy company) sure made for a shitty birthday for me...

Later EddieO

I will miss not hearing new songs from Tom. His music has such a good vibe about it.

I missed his last trip through town because of having to work overtime. Makes me sad I will not get to see him in concert anymore.

Been one of my favorites for as long as I can remember.

Yeah, that's too bad. What's the name of the song where the video was like in an abandoned dusty town and they pulled up in a car that was pretty futuristic looking and had gull wing doors. They went inside the small building and turned on arcade style video games?

I always enjoyed his music, such a sudden loss. The closest artist that I've heard some of Toms musical influence was on Chuck Prophet's first release.

I remember coming home from high school to watch the Birth of Rock Video's on MTV and Tom Petty was one of the Original bands that they played regularly and have always like his music, video's R.I.P Tom Petty
