RC4WD Gelande II D110 Truck Kit w/Hard Body build/review

Looking at that back bumper i want to get
I think itll be perfect
I think that bumper will bolt on to the stock bumper :D

You should be able to do something similar to what you did for the front bumper. Use the stock one to shim the new one.

Found a friend who bought the new FJ40 G2 kit so I'm buying his tires later tonight. A bit more expensive than I want, $30, but I'm fine with them. Im still excited though lol. Can't wait to get them installed and my new system should be installed within the month at the rate I'm going....

The jk. The tires are way softer than my ttc claws. I cant wait to instead them. Hoping my diff still gets clearance lol

I've heard many positive things about the powerstrokes. I know a few people in my trail club runs them and they all haven't had any problems as far as I know.

As for the tires, I love the look. However, the tires look small in the rear fenders so I'll need to make the rear fenders on my 3500 kinda small in order for them to look close to scale...

So I have my tires.... They're a pain in the ass to mount but they do mount.

Finally mounted one. And yes, I'm not easy on rims as shown by the absence of paint on like 35% of the rim lol

Why did you butchered that rims lol

Man i wish i didnt gave away my tf2 i missed it now
I should of kept it
I should be done by next year with this project
Which kit should i get next lol

I just drive. Don't care about scratching my rims. Once I get my DC-2 rims I will care a little bit more, but right now it's just kinda "meh"

Have you seen the RC4WD Bully II that was released a bit ago? Looks like a pretty fun build, and it's 6wd so there's that too. 6wd is always better than 4 or 2wd

Yeah i have seen it
And cheaper than d110 lol
But im afraid of that styrene body heheheh
I wish it comes like the d110 fully built body lol

I picked up and mounted the new rc4wd Warn winch... looks great in that bumper. . I ordered a license plates from Krawler Koncepts they are a vendor here. I like that their plates are reflective.

Do they make hawaii license plate?

The winch do i need to purchase the base plate also?
Yes they do. .. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=390419

The plate that shipped with the winch worked fine for my build I did need to rotate it 180 degrees from front to back to get the proper clearance from grille to bumper. I also had to re drill holes to mount the rollers that came with the winch as the pre drilled holes were to close. Rc4wd offers a specific fairlead to fit that bumper.L, They offer the part number on their website under the information for the bumper.
