RC4WD Gelande II D110 Truck Kit w/Hard Body build/review

Go on YouTube and look up Headquake RC that's all he does lol. Need to get some chores done before I can go to the hardware store and get the wood, some styrene if they have any, and some more dremel grinding wheels and cutting wheels. Not planning on only having to use one grinding wheel and one cutting wheel on this lol

Damn that guy sure can build lol
He made it looks so easy hahaha

Question
What is the proper way rotation of thise tires

Is the arrow points towards the front?>>>>
Or its the other way around? <<<<<

Or this way

Arrow goes forward.

Pretty hard getting an 8 good piece of wood into a 2003 Toyota carrolla lol. Ended up sticking out the back of the car lmfao

Now to begin cutting the wood down to size and looking at pictures of the truck to get an idea for how I should shape the sides and hood....

I bought the wood so I don't have to cut it down the center and I can just get right to the sanding down. Yes, I'm lazy lol

That would make it a bit faster building it
Make one side and traced it on the other wood
Clampt it together and sanding it down a bit to make it even

Exactly my plan. So far I have the sides cut off and I'm about to shave down the sides of the boards. They need to be cot down in size though, they're too wide. 6" is way too wide for the doors. But for the roof and hood 6"is great

I'll see if there's a photobucket app. Then I'll post some pics

I feel like tomorrow I'm gunna just go to the bank, pick up 200 bucks, and go to my LHS and pick up a CC01 kit just for fun. No real reason, just kinda bored lol. Hoping they have the FJ Cruiser or Jeep Wrangler in stock....

Test picture for the app... Throwback Friday back to August 2014 when I bought my SCX10. Shes changed so much yet still, she's a Jeep. Changing that this weekend yay

So you know about those storms rolling through the east coast? Hit my house purty hard last night and i left the wood on the back porch like an idiot. Now I have 3 soaking wet planks of pine wood, a waterlogged dremel tool, and nothing to do today.

Ey i was thinking of getting a cc01 or what ever you call it lol
I think ill get a pajero heheh

I had fun building my cc-01. Although quite the downgrade when it comes to material used. I stripped one plastic screw socket when I tightened it too much. Replaced it with an aluminum part so it's all good now.

Lol you just changed my mind about getting that cc01

I really need to stay away from this build for now
Need my sports fishermen yacht first

Well, remember the cost is quite different, you could have two of these - maybe three for the cost of a well equipped d90. I like that it has decent climbing torque for crawling but it's very fast, probably three times faster than my d90.
