Does it come with a hard body? Or its a lexan body?

I like how they looks but worried about durability

Lexan. The one above is a Parma but I got the FJ cruiser setup. Comes with motor and esc. I'd say much more durable than a hardbody like the d90 and scratches don't show as much of course.

Was that the only issue you had with the cc01? A few stripped holes won't change my mind that's why upgrades exist haha

Well no haha put one of the gearbox shafts in backwards and it bound up fried the esc when I tried to it get it going. Luckily the hobby shop where I got it (Sheldons Hobbies) warrantied it and got me another.

The part I stripped was the c-hub so I got some nice blue aluminum replacements from ebay.

Well I have a second esc if the stock one fries, as for the gearbox I'll be extra careful

So I put my RC4WD tires on my Axial rims and I like the look.



I haven't even picked up the pinewood since I cut it in half lol. I'll start up again tomorrow if I'm not needed at my grandparent's house or work. Then I have the weekend to work too so I should get done pretty quickly. Finally! "thumbsup"

I was thinking of trying that too- looks good. I like those tires.

They do look very nice. I've noticed while installing these tires onto my wagon wheels that I might be able to mount these tires, unmodified, onto a 1.7" rim. Only reason I want a 1.7" or 1.55" as opposed to a 1.9" is that when you go to a Jeep dealership or a Dodge dealership, you'll find that they all use 17" tires, so I'd rather have a more scale wheel. I'm fine with this for now, but I might upgrade to the 1.7 steelies and the new iroks. Really hoping those tires are under 4 inches outer diameter...
