Rowdys there's no "I" in team Bully 2

Yeah, if these fail I be looking in that direction. I had these uni's left over from a build that never happened, figured I'd give it a shot.
The VP vvd's would definitely be less work.
 
They held up in my XR. I am also looking at ofna shafts but not sure they are thick enough for tangs to fit the locker.

The Ofna shafts I use in my sporty (Dlux) are thicker than the Axial but still not thick enough so they would still need to be built up at the tang and also lathed down towards the uni to fit into the tube.
 
Once my bully 2 axles get here I'm going to start working on a knuckle for kyosho 1/8 scale high angle universals. I already have the shafts and all the material for the knuckles. I just need my bully 2s.

Any news before I pull the trigger on alternative options?

This is where I'm at. But it looks like you have already gone the vvd route. When you decide you want more steering we can get you switched over to these.
