Sam's Garage

Just Amazing Bro......

But I have a question..........................

When do you find the time to play that awesome looking Guitar ?

:lmao:

How about a scale Guitar in the Garage?

Best Regards Rick

While Sam was out shopping for a new ladle, Chell came across something interesting in the garage.....

Chell: (with a sigh) "Oh Sam Sam Sam...."

Watch your back Sam.

So kind of a significant upgrade going on for this little part of the world right now. As you have seen in previous posts, the garage only has two walls. I wanted to start using as much of the space as I can and so to provide more camera angle options I've decided to add a third wall on the right hand side. It will be removable and will only be in place when I take photographs so that for the rest of the time while it's on display in my living room, the wall won't be there and the whole thing will remain open.

So this wall with have a garage door. But to give it more depth and another whole dimension, I've seen other dioramas with a partly open garage door so you can see through the gap and what's outside. So here we go, a half open roller door through which you can see the driveway and a fence or whatever.

I've started by using the leftover sheets I made the rest of the diorama out of to make the driveway and the wall. I am using the left over brick wallpaper. Here's where it's at as of now...

Found some of those Zona clamps I've seen around the joint too. They're great!

The driveway, this will be covered with something.

And you kinda get the idea here....

Roller doors almost done. Yes the right side of the right door is not even, but it'll always be out of shot. I was gong to do the roller mechanism at the top, but again, also thought it will never be in shot anyway. So I went with the look of tall door openings as this garage has a high roof anyway.

Thanks mate.

Bit of an update to the door situation.....some paint and blackwash. They're not fixed in place yet.

This is some truly amazing work, and it's really inspired me with ideas for my own garage I'm planning on starting up hopefully very soon. Keep up the good work! I'm glued to the progression of this build. :)

Thanks mate.

I found another use for a spare Axial battery plate.....

Chell: "Honey.......Your best friend Harry has a brother Larry, in five days from now he's gonna marry. He's hopin' you can make it there if you can, 'cause in the ceremony you'll be the best man."

Sam: "Huh?"
