i dont know which one i should be looking into, i want to be able to do wheelies but not do them constintly as im driving i want to be able to go off road in hard terraine like big rocks and deep water also to go on dirt to do some free style like drifting and pop wheelies a liland take it out on the road and just do insane speeding and showing off to people, i would like to know like the pros and cons of each one and which one be better for what i want.

and plz just awnser or what ever i dont need comitary about what ever you would come up with.

In my opinion it sounds like you should get the pede. It has good ground clearance for off road other than just flat dirt and its tougher than tough. The rusty is lower and more aerodynamic, if you were just running on the road and dirt I would say that would be a good choice.

As for the wheelies that's just throttle control, both have really nice adjustable wheelie bars on them though.

You really cant go wrong with the pede for bashing. Plus there are a ton of nice hop ups for it, longer chassis and you can use some other traxxas parts to widen it also (search the internet for "wide pede", build threads will pop up).

I bought a modified "wide pede" from a guy a couple of years ago. Running a Mamba 5700 combo on 2s 5000mah lipo. It hit 55 mph on my street, could have gone a little faster but the Dirt Hawgs were ballooned up like pizza cutters 8) Still wish I didnt sell it..if I had a dime for everytime I said that:shock:

Ive had both and they are each alot of fun to bash. I personally liked the Rustler better. Its got a lower center of gravity so it doesnt tend to roll over as much as the Pede. As much as people like to bring up the Pedes ground clearance they fail to mention that all that extra ground clearance is only under the chassis area where the battery sits. The only height difference at the front and rear suspensions between both trucks is due to the Stampedes larger tires. The Pede wheelies pretty well but if you plan to upgrade the electronics you may get tired of its wheelie happy nature. Wheelies are harder with the Rustler but if you plan to install a VXL system and a 3 cell lipo they wont be hard to do with the Rusty.
