T I N Y Builds A TRX-4M F-150...

The receiver got here today. So, out with the old and in with the new. Talk about a lucky break - the corners of the Injora ESC fit perfectly in the center grooves of the shock tower. So a little Shoe-Goo and in went the ESC & receiver. They fit just fine on the stock ESC tray side by side. The final lucky thing was that it all fits below the shock towers. Then the only thing left to do was make the wiring clean. (y)

The servo mount came in today. (On a side note) It's a good idea to take pictures of what you're working on. Because you (Like Me) could put it on backwards the first time...lol. So, out with the old and in with the new. went with silver in color, just to add some bling to all that black. I hate parts with names on them. I understand they want to show it was them who made it, but you already know who it is. Because you bought it from them...lol OK, (down off my soapbox). So with that in mind, I took some 1500 grit to my "NHX" servo mount. No more name. Back in it went backwards the first time, then the right way. Then I noticed, even when it was stock. That there's a gap between the servo arm and the steering link. So, I added some washers to fill the gap.

So I get the new ESC and receiver...Now I can't find my old radio. It's an FS-GT3B, So that sucks... But I'm not giving up. I'm on the hunt. Damn closets...lol

The servo horn is here. So, on it went... It adds a little more color to the front axle and makes that steering linkage stand out now, I think. Overall, I think it looks better.

I Found The Radio! But I have a problem. Why does it have torque twist while going in reverse? And it looks like it's fighting itself. Like something's holding it back. Any help will be appreciated.

Perhaps there is something binding?
Wheel nut too tight?

If you can't figure it out I would disconnect the driveshafts going to the diffs and see if they rotate freely.

Process of elimination to see what's happening.

I also found there was a lot of torque twist in the truck. I know you have different shocks but I have two preload clips on passenger rear, one on the drivers side rear and one on the passenger side front. Seems to have helped a lot.

I'll check it out, thanks. I'm going to order a bearing kit. They say that helps. I also have adjustable shocks, so I'll stiffen those up as well.

I Received My servo today...I'll put it in Later Today, once I remove some material from the servo mount. The servo is slightly wider than the mount opening. So Dremel to the rescue.

I tell you what... If you get this servo and mount combo, you're going to have to do A LOT of grinding. On the mount and on the servo. It was a nightmare!
