The Eye's 2011 TTC Rig

not a prob.. if you need any thing else let me know. one thing buy more tungsten tips, so you can grind the ends to a point, and not have to go to the grinder all the time. that way when the tugstun gets durty you can just swap it out with a new one"thumbsup"

well i made the mistake of bring home my truck to look it over..... 8).... and well with my new welder i have desided to make some"a lot" changes.

new hood, new front end, interior pans, dual winches, light buckets,

there was just something about this truck that was bugging me .... fixed it  .... now to just make it happen

now to start bending the tube for the front wheel wells and finish the front grill.

Today was a good day in the shop,

All the wheel well tubing got rolled
The rest of the tubing for the front grill is cut
A new head board was rolled for the cab
Added tubing to the stringer

I really love the new tapered look of the front end.

But the most fun today was working on the body panel templates...
The final ones will be in 20g or 22g Steel .... hard body points

I think maybe ... solid in the middel and mesh on the sides and rear

I'm also thinking of making the hood and sides into 1 pieces ... for one big steel skin :lmao: i just dont know

The new tapered hood does make the hood panel harder to shap that is for sure ...

Bikini top for sure:mrgreen:"thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

20g and 22g material is ordered for the final panels

I have been talking to my painter about a cool Rox Box logo done in with the ghost flames across the hood .... i cannt wait to see this hood done

The front end was bugging me as well. Great work on fixing it Aaron! I would take 1 solid peice of alu. and slightly bend it to the hood, and then cut it right at the center of the bends crest. Then when you continue to bend it you can fold the corners of the cut peices into each other and make everything square. Thats how my chevy body was made. Might work, might not, just something I would try "thumbsup"

Or if you are any good with carbon fiber cloth, You could mold a REAL Carbon fiber hood! That would be SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why stop with just the hood? I think all the panels should match .....

Red Kevlar ................. Now that will be sick 8)

I will be making the first mold tomorrow night.....

How cool would a one piece Kevlar skin be on a TTC rig ,,, guess we will see.

.... this crap is just way to much fun

Damn cool idea! Molding that stuff is not really that hard. You can infuse what ever color you want too!

i desided to stay with all black Kevlar .... because of the photo shoot in Feb.

I wish i could find a vendor to print my eye candy.... pin up's
