Man it's looking good. What kind of grit paper do you use when you sand?
Thanks! The rough spots you see are from the dremel and not sand paper. BUt I use all different grit paper when it comes to sanding depending on what the purpose is.

OMG!! You can use leafs on the front of the TSS chassis."thumbsup"
HAHA well yeah in the front of this chassis you can with some modification.

Looking great, going to need some cage work for sure "thumbsup"

Thanks, ill be starting on the cage once I finish the interior!

this yj is turning out sweat."thumbsup" i really like half doors.

Thanks! Hoping to get started on some detail soon.

OMG THE TOP FELL OFF!

Looks great so far!

HaHa thanks!

Just wanted to show off some pics after 24 hours soaking in easy off. Got most layers off but the blue is tough!!! This Jeep has some history for sure.

Going to soak it again tonight. Hope it comes clean tomorrow.

Looking SWEET man!!! BTW can you answer my question on Scale in this same thread on there PLEASE SIR!!!!

Sorry bro!!! Here I answered you on both!!! I didnt even realize that I didnt reply to you.

Thanks man!!! Few more questions real fast IF you don't mind.... 1. If a body has spray paint on it thats popping off will styrene pop off if you use Tenax7R and 2. Is Tenax 7R suppose to be watery and not thick and is it suppose to change colors if you get paint particles in it and will that make it not stick anymore??

1- to my knowledge, yes. Sand the paint off to bare plastic then glue.
2- I have no clue about tenax7r because I use CA glue. Has always worked great for me.

awesome."thumbsup"

i forgot about the hinge pics, sorry:-( i will get those to you asap.

also got figured out a trick for the roof, a little reverse engineering"thumbsup"

Well a little update on this rig. I am definitely not going to finish this one in time for the deadline. So I do not want to rush this one since I have some great ideas for it and when it is done it WILL be MY personal best in my collection.
It will be leafed front and rear and I will use this chassis when it becomes available.

Here is where I am now. I will be putting this body on the back burner for a bit so I can finish it up proper! Plus I dont stand a chance with 7.2's working latches! I even heard from a guy that he is making a latch for his latch???

OK so I will be continuing this build with the original chassis, but with a different Jeep body.

I hope the body shows up soon. I only have a week!!

Stay tuned... and wish me luck!

Do work son!

HAHA Just waitin on the body to show up so I can start. I guess I could install electronics on the chassis... But I am having too much fun building my Samurai!!!!

wow awesome job on the build."thumbsup""thumbsup"

Thanks my friend. I have to get it done before the 18th build off deadline!!!
nice work. i really like that upper link mount on the rear. did you make that?

Thanks I didnt make it. A guy on scale4x4 made it and does great work. I just painted it textured black for a powder coat look.

He sells on ebay too.

Kyosho Optima shocks huh? I've wondered how they would look. I just never
got around to checking it out. I have some of those around somewhere.
The Optima was my first hobby grade R/C. I drove the piss out of it.
Yes people I am that OLD!!!!!:lol::flipoff::lol::lol:
