The Styrene Challenge #2 - Flat bottom boat

I started out with the 1/24-25th scale stuff as well (far too many years ago!) - didnt really "make" a lot of stuff, but did do a fair amount of customizing. Comparitively, 1/10th scale is a walk in the park!

try to do it in 1/700 scale, thats why I don't build ships anymore, almost went cross eyed

What do we want to see for the next one? throw up some ideas

That is a DARN good question! LOL

I did try my hand at a ship or two - did an aircraft carrier once - ugh! all those teeny little planes! LOL
also did a sailing ship - the Cuttysark (still have that one) what a pain!! LOL

Have also done the odd Star Trek model here & there, motorcycles in various scales, an A-10 Wart Hog (one of my personal favs), an AH-1 Cobra military helicopter (both of these were done back in the Desert Storm days), several semi trucks, and of course various cars/trucks...

It is funny because right now I have 3 different static models "in progress" - a 1/16 Kenworth (would love to convert this one to rc), a 1/24 Ford Semi, and a 1/25 Subaru Legacy - that havent been touched in many, many months - not since I found 'scale' RCs...

This one is crazy good. It just needs a Mercury 9.9 on the back and it would be an EXACT replica of my brothers boat, "the dirty oar"

Great job!
