tire treating????

You can make a very good tyre softener by combing about 4 table spoons of "Joes'" pink hand cleaner,a half teaspoon of REAL turpentine (not the synthetic stuff) and a few drops of mint oil. Mix it well, put on some gloves and rub the mixture into the tyres inside and out. Be sure to work it evenly, let them set a few minutes, checking often, and rubbing the tyres to distribute the sauce. After about 15 minutes, wash the tyres in warm water to stop the softening. Myself and a lot of others used this concoction on our dirt oval tyres. You need to be kinda careful, too much turpentine in the mix can ruin the tyres, and about 1 table spoon of mixture per tyre is enough to soften them. Store your tyres in plastic bags with a drop of water to keep them soft.

hi ive washed tyres in liquid sugar soap and even soaked them over night not for crawler tyers though for f1s it worked but not all day i know its a different compound but anything non toxic worth a go mate

there is a paint thinner called xyol - it is xylene use that on the tires after you wash then with simple green paint it on with a brush and let it soak in - it will make them very soft -
you have to get this thinner at a paint store for cars i think - thats where i got mine
