Updates on my SCX10.........

Wow! those last pics looks amazing, very nice!

Thanks. 8-)

Are you going to bring that to the next OC comp? I wanna see this thing, it looks awsome

I can bring it on Sunday to Corona Del Mar. ;)

Very nice custom items in the build. I was planning on inner fender wells for my Tundra build and was thinking I was going to have to make them from styrene...but the CD cover trick is the ticket. I'm definitely going to steal that idea from you sir :-P

Thanks. The CD's cases are the easiest way to do the inner fenders for sure. I actually did a tech article for the front page of RCC a while ago using these as inner fenders on my old F-150 build. Hopefully, jason will get a chance to post it up at some point. "thumbsup"

That thing is sick man, nice thinking

Thanks man. 8-)

also how bout cutting out those exaust stickers on the side of the body and use some polished tubing mounted to the frame "thumbsup"

any word on the video?
i know this will sound like extreme brown nosing, but i owe my obssison to rc crawling to stumbling across your losi rock claw test video on youtube

I thought about doing that for the exhaust too, but I'm running out of time at this point because we are bringing this rig to the King of the Hammers race at the end of the week. Maybe I'll get a chance later to try it though. 8-)

We're going to start shooting video at the KOH race as well. Thanks for the compliments on the videos too. 8-)

We'll see. ;)

any progress, you know i have run out of my own inspiration

Not much as far as scale details go right now. I would like to do another Diablo body with cage work out back instead of the fans and gas tank.

Thant thing is sick, cant wait for the vid...

Thanks.

Installed the 12t Slash motor and Super Rooster ESC today. Went out for a little test run/drift session in the warehouse, man is this thing FAST!! Wheelies on demand on pavement too. :D

Wow that's a great picture you've got some serious wheel speed. :D

the titan 12t is great for a scaler, i took his advice n put one in my scx-10 and itll sling mud all over ya if yer too close while playin lol. i jus ordered a 5000mah 9.6v pack so imma b able to have lots o fun here shortly. that truck is really lookin good bender!!"thumbsup" seems like your full of new ideas

IT looks as if it goes good with the 12t motor.

The motor / esc combo I went with for the SCX10 I won is Goat esc with a 13.5 motor, gearing is 69t spur with a 31t pinion. I ran 2 4000 mah batts back to back fully beating the thing and they were still cool to the touch. It still crawls well and I dont think I need to tell you how fast it is.:D

I had 62PYRO cut me 6 custom rings and I am working on bumpers and the body now. I didn't go red becouse I didn't want it to look just like yours, but man yours looks good.

One day I will start a build thread on it. (eveyone thinks I just sold it)

By far the best pic, this should be your new avater sick!!!!:shock::shock:

Scalers are a blast when they have some speed built in.

Can't wait to see your build thread, sounds like you'll be sporting some wheel speed too. "thumbsup"

Thanks, I do need to change up my avatar, maybe I will use that pic. ;)

im waiting to start racing these......perfect for a "tough truck" series..... they just jump so good its scary. i plan to upgrade to a longer stroke aluminum shock sometime soon. if anybody is close to arkansas lemme kno. have truck will travel:-D

awesome, just awesome, that is what is so great about these trucks, the versatility. i was planning on converting mine to crawl from time to time, but it is so much fun with the brushless i will just have to buy another one to crawl with

Sweet toy!!!

Is it possible to move the tie rod to the tops of the steering knuckles? That would give you a little more clearance up front and the ball end would function as a spacer.

Wow that thing is the coolest scaler i've seen.
I'm still getting ideas for my scaler for when i get it, so this might be an option lol
