What did you do to/with your Ascender today

Decided to put my Codyboy chassis to use with my bobbed blazer body. Think this will make a good combo. There is a local laid back comp that I’d like to use this truck for. Haven’t had much time at all to run my trucks but have the itch to build something so I figured I’d modify this set up. This is still just mock’d up and body is a bit crooked but will update later.

so now working on relocating the battery on my K10 i decided to hold off on the power wagon until i get the battery relocated. thinking in the front of the servo should make for a good area for this. still alots of testing to due and placement ideas

In the last 2 weeks I've painted the body and grill, built a wooden deck, built a new bumper. Now just building some rock sliders.

The cosmetics are not very pretty at the moment but the function to retain the battery within the frame rails without it falling out the sides. But it works and ill do some better fitment it's only a 3s 1500 Helios rc thats got to fit with. More wire management to happen.

Got to running the K10 in the basement today. And as i thought it would happen the front drive shaft is creating a clicking sound. Im sure it's a easy fix. Nothing internally binding or bad bearings the crown n pinion are shimmed to the best i can get it.

My Ascender has been sitting on the shelf for too long. Time to give it some love since it's my only unmodified RC.

First, I stretched the wheel base and fitted the Power Wagon cab I have had sitting here for the last year or so.

Then I built a custom front bumper to go along with it since the stock bumper was way too wide for the Power Wagon grille.

Next, I have to narrow up my old set of Scaler Fab sliders. I may start that today, but it's probably a project for another day.

That’s going to look awesome. I really like that body with the cage. With no fenders and that front bumper, that’ll be an all business rig for sure.

Technically this was yesterday, but I cut up and remade my sliders to better fit the body.
