Finally got my Scalerfab rock sliders in. Look great on the truck. Going to have to clearance them so the tires don’t rub and full lock and compression. Thinking cutting them at the red line.

Can you swap them side to side? Looks like you can avoid cutting them that way.

I could. But then they don’t line up with the body well and can’t use the front and rear holes for the battery and upper link mounts.

I'm not a pinch guy, but your nose/hood pinch turned out very nicely, bed bob looks great! I was going to say swap the sliders side to side too, I ran my Codyboy sliders forward on my K10, but soon found better to have little more clearance up front and the extra slider under the cage/bed sides really helps. That way rocks don't catch between slider and rear tires, while allowing steering/flex clearance. Weird they don't line up proper when swapped. Build is coming along very nicely! :)

I broke the pin on my driveshaft and didn’t feel like spending $60 for mips so had some traxxas ones laying around and they are a little to thick. Found some arrma ones and they are just about perfect. I had to grind a mm or 2 off the end. It fit through the barrel just fine but had to drill out the cup just a hair and it fits perfect. I think the arrma ones were about $5.

I outboarded my shocks using Traxxas longer bolts p/n 2592 and some 3mm flat washers.

Had some of these laying around that I never used and they look pretty close in length as the stock shock shafts. Does anyone know if they will work. I won’t be able to use the Ascender pistons unless I drill the center out and use a clip to hold it in place. I guess the only benefit would be they have the nitrate coating so less stiction and they would look cool with the gold coating.
