What hex drivers you using?

I thought the same thing and was hesitant to buy it. I bought this to keep in my backpack for repairs out on the trail. I have been using this now for the past 3 months as my primary tool and have built two new rigs and rebuilt 2 others. Believe it or not the tips still look new and fit screws very precisely. I mainly use MIP tips and IMO these Bowhouse tips seemed to be made very similar. I also like that the cap that holds the tips is magnetic and holds the tips very well.
That looks like a great tool to keep in my trail backpack.

LockedUp RC makes excellent tools as well. You buy the handles and bits separately and in the end they aren't cheap, but nothing crazy either. But they are very nice and the tips are replaceable unlike MIPs. They also have very nice tools for scale hardware. The only thing I'd say there is make sure you get their HD bits for scale hardware. The standard version sucks and will wear out before building one rig.

These all appear to be the same thing, some minor changes in color and handle design, still looks like they are all rebranded ones. All have the same amount of tools and same tips.
Note: It is very well possible that there are differences in quality, they appear to be kinda the same, that doesn't say anything on which one is the original one and which one is a copy. Or if there is a quality difference between them. Be aware of that!

I think will add the Samox to my collection. Perfect small and complete for on the trial in my backpack, the MIPs are great fo my RC workshop and toolbox and builds. The Samox will be perfect for repairs on the trial.
I think I also add a AKA Products Double Play Nut Driver - 5.5 and 7mm AKA44004 for the trials toolbag. Maybe add some small Tecno turnbuckle wrenches and have a pretty complete small, light tool set that will fit into a pocket and I will be able to do most repairs on the trails.

Be careful with that generalization. Lots of products, RC and otherwise, appear to the the same as the competition, but often times they are lower quality clones.

Ive got the savox set. The bits are ok still, had to fix the clutch that hold the bit in the handle too many times.

I have a buncha wera and snap-on tools. I love my wera drivers and had expected the tolerances on the wera L-key hexes to also be up there... but they started stripping screws
My cheaper Bondhus and Tekton L keys tolerances were way better too... oh well, in the least, the Wera phillips/flathead drivers rox.
Love the MIP drivers btw. have used them nonstop and very little signs of wear.

Got the MIP hex drivers in and they are really good. Major difference. "thumbsup"
Hands down MIP drivers. They’re an investment for sure but worth every penny. You’ll quickly forget what it’s like to worry about stripping the head of a screw. If you choose the correct size driver it’ll fit perfectly. I’ve not stripped a screw using one of these. Ever.
MIP mainly, Losi multi-tool for trailing, few leftover RDLogics, occasional Dynamite....MIP are my favorite. Wish they had a nice zippered, fold-out carrying pouch for trail hiking to put in my pack instead of a bunch of loose drivers!

Wera are not straight cut..wonder if you move that around a bit if it would change. I never user wera to really crank down on something as the contact patch is less....only use them where i can't gain access easily as they let you go off camber.

I still using the same multi colored aluminum handled Integy Allen wrench’s form the late 90s!
I too have only broken one tip. I replaced the tip with one from EDS.
I have several of the EDS tips for my power driver. Good stuff.

Adding a Mip driver set tomorrow. Looking around the price is solid where ever they are sold. Plastic handles are same style found on the Exclite sets, and works great. The fancy colored handle sets, that's what is being sold. I'm more about the business end, and reading here Mip has that going for it...

I have a set of these Wera Hex Plus drivers in my Amazon cart. Have to wait to order as I'm away overseas for the next month. Kinda like flank drive for hex screws and they claim you can put 20% more torque into the screw.

The Exolite is a good tool, the problem is with the smaller hex bits.
Torque applied the shaft flexes, and causes the bit too head to go off center, in turn rounding the corner of the hex. Once that happens game over. The shaft is now bent, force needed when using the bit will never be applied evenly in the socket of the screw.
How much torque is needed, these are models ? Reasonable torque, and even torque is all that is required. While I'm at it, I disagree with pre-threading a plastic screw hole. Part of the design known as, interference is helpful. As found with self taping screws.
Ball ends and the word snap comes to mind and go together, IMNSHO
