No kidding. I almost had a heart attack when the birth bills for Dylan started showing up. Our insurance is good and it will still take me years to pay my part.

The hospital care was phenomanal though.

My employer in Phoenix offered medical. After paying their contribution, it would of cost me $1200 a month for my wife, son, and myself. There was still an office visit/prescription co-pay, and all procedures had to be pre-approved.

A co-workers wife had to take an emergency trip to the hospital one night (with a history of heart problems), and because he didn't call the insurance company before he called 911, they stuck him with the entire bill. Fawk that.
