WI Parley January 28th Oshkosh, WI

Got rid of my 4x4 SCTen and am in on-road mode right now. Just have a VTA and 1/16 rally class now.

Kinda wish I still had my SCTE, that thing was nice to drive.

I'm not sure what you mean by open format, but I'm sure they will find a class to put you in. I raced in the stock short course class (box stock 2WD). 4WD and/or brushless powered trucks above a 17.5 motor would most likely be in a seperate Pro or Mod class. I'm not real sure since I've been out of racing for a few years. They have a really nice facility, lots of pit tables, and the store will open after hours for emergency parts purchases "thumbsup".

I guess for me it all depends on what the guys want to do. As for now everyone is for getting a room except Irok. My truck now is set up as a boosted 10.5 but could be run as stock. I know reddog would only be up for it if they had a stock SC class.

I am for sure. Also I am sure that jcboof will be there maybe a few MIRCA guys too he was goin to talk to them

Alright Guys lets start talking about this. We need to make some Hotel Reservations for the night. I know my Vehicle is planning on staying the night and getting a few beers after the comp. So far I have Wild Bill (Confirmed), Djjzt(Confirmed per Bill) and myself. We will be leaving from Duluth Superior area probably around 5:30am on the saturday. I have room for one more if anyone is interested.

I know JCboof will be coming from Indiana and he was going to talk to a few Michigan guys and see if he can get one or two others will have to see.

I was checking Hotels looks like there is a Motel 6 has rooms (2 full size beds) 2 guests per room for $47 roughly a night after taxes. Maybe some of the guys from the area there can recommend a good hotel(Cheap, clean, and close to a bar and or comp location).

Not sure if I can afford to play with toys.. Sorry.. I think I'm out.

What. Loser. Why you not going. I thought you were coming for sure. You haven't comp'ed in forever. you still remember how your truck runs even....We probably can find you some Hooks:lmao::lmao::lmao::flipoff:

Good to hear you guys are still planning on coming. It should be a good time. We are all looking forward to it.
We will be providing food at the comp so you can save $ on a meal or 2 there.

Come on man. It shouldn't cost too much.

$50 is too much and my truck still needs parts.. 1/1 and 1/10..

My truck is basically axles right now plus I've for sure forgot how to drive. "thumbsup"

I still plan on attending. I really have no interest in staying overnight tho. But who knows. Who's driving and riding and what not. Plans would be nice to know at this point.

I'd like to go still. Kinda torn on staying overnight though.

I know that there are some very reasonable hotels around Oshkosh. Curt had been in contact with a few to get some rates. I am planning on staying overnight whether you guys do or not, but I figured it would be a good chance to get to know you guys a little better and hang out. Not knowing exactly how long the comp will last especially with the start time at 2:00, there is a possibility of it lasting a LONG time.

I'm not sure of their format, but most comps are 3-4 courses with a finals course. With the extra people, there could be a possibility of 20 or so drivers and if only one course is ran at a time, you can see how it could possibly be late before its over.

Not trying to sway you guys one way the other, I'd just rather hang out after the comp and grab a few beers instead of heading home right away.
