WI Parley January 28th Oshkosh, WI

Here is a video to give you an idea of what we have. We rearranged half the course. More work is going to be done on sunday to fill in gaps, reconnect the bridge and repair a couple areas. Sorry, I can't embed video in this section.

Hobbytown Oshkosh crawler course Jan 2012 - YouTube

A couple pics to see the whole area. The actual crawling area is around 12' by 50'.

Looks good. Sounds like we will have 4 coming from Duluth Area and 2 from The Twin Cities area. Also 1 coming from indiana. Can't wait till next weekend.

Was that a big buck hunter game in the background? I'm in. :flipoff:

Looks like fun, interesting location and indoors. Hmmm, I'll talk to Kevin and make up my mind.

Hey stolps,
That course looks great! You guys have a build thread for that terrain?
I'd like to build something similar for minis...

Very nice layout, looks like a blast. Wish I could make it, not looking good right now, need to work on my "PANTS WEARER" also.

Though I am thinking about it, need to blow the dust off the XR."thumbsup"

Ok, I think Baller has finally gotten the approval to go.:lmao: Where are you guys staying saturday night? What's the plan for saturday after the comp? Food, beer, $10 challenges, ect.

I'll do some research on hotels tonight and try to get a headcount to see how many rooms we are gonna need.

I'm up for anything. Beer, strippers, transexual midget wrestling.... Uh, I mean, hot chicks in bikinis wrestling. :lmao:

Ten dollar challenge you say???8)

If you can post up how many are coming with you Pimp, I'll get a tally from Curt. I'll be heading up from Indiana by myself so I'm up for anything."thumbsup"

The plan is four total with Curt. I'm down for whatever Saturday night but I know our group has to be on the road by 9 am Sunday at the latest.

What time is the official start time Saturday?

We are planning to start at 2:00. Some of us are going to try and be there early to welcome you. I f you beat us the course is upstairs, some of the Hobbytown employees can be real dicks towards the crawler crowd. See you Sat. Chuck

Hey Jeeper is there a place to setup chargers and stuff up there. it looked like there was room but thought I would put it out there. Also what is the entry fee for the comp. Just curious.

Yes looks right now to be 4 of us going in my Van. Should be Me, Billy, Irok, and Adam as of now. Plan for us is to meet at the Perkins in Superior at 6:30am. We will load up from there and head south. As for rooms I know the Motel 6 had rooms at around $46 a night plus tax roughly that was 2 queen beds. I think 1 king was cheaper for those that like it cozy"thumbsup"

I am open for anything after the comp as for dinner, beers. I am interested in this midget stuff jcBoof is talking about....:oops:.

There are several tables to setup on, plenty of room. The cost is $7 per class, the money goes to Hobbytown.

Chris Kasper has offered up his place if we want somewhere to go after the comp. It is in Appleton, about 20 min away. He has a large collection of rocks in his basement to crawl on and an overall good place to shoot the shit. He is also ok with a couple guys crashing there if someone needs a place. His # is posted on page 4 in this thread somewhere if anyone is interested, give him a call.
